Pantene Gold Series Hydrating Butter Creme 6.8 oz

This butter creme smells amazing like the other products in this line. It is of a thick consistency but unfortunately, when I applied it to my locs it kind of just sat on top of them as opposed to being absorbed into my hair. So for that reason, I probably wouldn't purchase this product again because I have other products that are intended to do the same thing but are actually absorbed into my hair Hydrating Butter-Crème:Since a wash-n-go is my go-to style, I decided to use the butter-crème as my styler in the same manner as I use other stylers for my weekly wash-n-go’s. Pantene’s Gold Series did not compare to the moisture and style longevity I received from other products in the same price range (even if they also contained sulfates!). I've even gotten better results from other Pantene product lines. My true test was going to Hawaii for a week where I was in the ocean, surfing, out in the sun, washing my hair almost every day- all of which can be really drying. Better Than Butter

I tried this Pantene Hydrating Butter Creme as soon as I received my shipment and pulled it out of the box. It just so happened that I had just finished washing and drying my hair so I got to test it right away! Oh my goodness, this stuff is amazing! I wasn't expecting much difference from other products of this type, but I was willing to keep an open mind. I am so glad I did. First off, it does not require a lot of product for it to be effective. I used a little over a quarter-sized amount mostly on my ends and edges; then worked the remainder throughout the rest of my hair. It absorbed quickly, immediately left my hair feeling soft and more manageable, and just well moisturized. Great butter cream

Really great product. It is the reinvented form of grease in a more sophisticated way to retain moisture and not the greasy feel. My one suggestion on Pantene gold series is the preservatives. It changed, everyone seems to be opposed to paraben’s but they are safe. Please stop with the benzyl alcohol. This swaps are higher incidences in contact dermatitis and eczema prone skin. Every time I find a product that works they get rid of safer preservatives and add all of these ones that are prone to irritate sensitive skin.

My New Love!

I have been seriously sleeping on the Pantene Gold Series products!!! I love, love, love this hydrating butter creme. I have a thick, 4A hair type. My hair loves this stuff! I first detangle my hair with the Pantene Detangling Milk. I then shampoo and deep condition my hair with the usual products. Lastly I style my hair with just this product only!!! I have went from using 2 products to one for styling my hair in a 2 strand twist that later becomes a beautiful moisturized twist out!!! This stuff is THE TRUTH!!! I just ordered some more from the Walmart shop online/pick-up in store feature. I can't wait to get the notification to go pick it up! My advice use it sparingly as the directions say. The more you use the more defined and moisturized your hair is for quite some time. If your hair gets a little dry, lightly spray your hair with water from a spray bottle and reapply. Pantene Isn't Awful Anymore! Detangling Milk Works Much Better

In my opinion, Pantene has been a horrible excuse for an industry-standard brand. Their basic old-school formulas leave film on your hair and simply don't work. However, the Pantene Gold Series, sulfate free, is quite possibly the best line of products on the market for hydration, shine, and restoration of hair. The detangling milk is the best anti-frizz detangler shine-inducing product on the market. I am so impressed with Pantene Gold Series that I will clear any store out of the kits and give them as gifts. I am often met with women and men who have had the same amazing results. Use any one of the Pantene Gold Series Products and in some way, you will have restored your hair. Grab it when you can or it will be gone the next day.

The best water-based moisture sealant

This is a sealing miracle, used correctly, which isn't the manufacturer's directions. I use it after my leave-ins and while my hair is still wet (not drenched). My hair is left soft, moisturized and my curls are defined. I don't need to use curling jelly or anything else. After wash day, I spray with water, apply ASIAM's 'So Much Moisture' and seal with this again. My hair looks and feels fantastic. Oh yeah, I use WAY more than a dime-sized drop.

The product of 2017!

I just picked this product up tonight from CVS after stopping on for another item. I am just getting back from a long weekend trip and my scalp was really dry. The packaging was very attractive so.I decided to give this line a try. I am really happy that I did. I do have relaxed tresses but thought this would give my scalp the moisture it seem to need. Well it definitely delivered! The texture of the shampoo is light, creamy and not much is needed to get a good cleansing if you are sure to saturate your tresses with lukewarm water. The first cleanse I used 7 pumps and the second I used 4 along with my scalp scubber. Super clean!!! I followed up with the leave in detangling milk because they were out of the conditioner, but no worries it was still super hydrating. I followed the instructions carefully and combed the product through after applying. I did not wait for my hair to dry completely before applying the hydrating butter creme because I was really exhausted from the drive back so I squeezed out the excess water, which was not much, with a cotton t-shirt then applied the hydrating butter creme. I used a quarter sized amount, again, based on the density of my tresses, but again no worries! Buttery soft! I can't wait for my hair to dry completely so I can really experience the light scent of the product and the velvety softness that I think my tresses will have.
