I received a free sample of this sauce from PINCHme, in exchange for an honest review. This sauce is a quick and easy way to prepare a great tasting Indian dish at home. Simply simmer your favorite meats in the sauce and serve. Couldn't be simpler. The sauce has a subtle spice level that gives it a little kick without being overwhelming. The array of spices gives the sauce a nice authentic flavor, and it is thick enough not to run all over your plate. The sauce is great on it's own, or you can throw in some additions and make it your own. There really is no wrong way to enjoy it.If your are looking for a quick, easy dinner, and are tired of the usual offerings, give this a try, the exotic spices will please your pallet. This was my first time trying Patak's Tikka Masala Curry Simmer Sauce and it was delicious. I sauteed some cubes of chicken breast which I then simmered in the sauce for 15 minutes adding some stir fry veggies during the last 5 minutes, and I served it over white rice. My whole family loved it. It says medium hot on the jar, but I didn't think it was very hot, although it is very well seasoned and it did leave a tingly feeling on the tongue. This meal was very easy to prepare and somewhat healthy too, so I will definitely serve this to my family again. I received a sample for free from PINCHme in exchange for my honest feedback.

I sauteed a pound of chicken breast and simmered the chicken in the sauce for 15 minutes, adding in some stir fry vegetables for the last 5 minutes, then served this on top of white rice. This meal was super easy to prepare and relatively healthy too. My whole family loved it and I will definitely buy this again. The sauce is seasoned very nicely, leaving a nice tingly spice on the tongue, but will need some chilli oil or hot sauce if you want to ramp this up to super spicy. I received a sample jar of Patak's Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce for free from PinchMe in exchange for my honest feedback.
I received a jar of the Patak's Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce as a sample. I procrastinated using it because I could not determine what I wanted to try it on. Well I should not have done that. I browned a couple of chicken breasts and poured the sauce over it and let it simmer for maybe 15 minutes or so. I made white rice and served the chicken and sauce over the rice and what a nice meal it made. Nice and smooth tasting, just the right amount of texture and flavor with the spices in the sauce. I will definitely be purchasing it the next visit to my local store.
Really handy to have in the cupboard. Used it for making a slow cooked beef madras. Browned stewing steak in frying pan added the madras sauce, tin of cherry tomatos and a courgette chopped up in large pieces. Put it all in the slow cooker and left it for a good few hours. Think because I had added the tomatoes it toned down the chilli heat but the spices came through lovely. Great that the sauce is gluten free and vegan so a really good vegatable curry can be made. Easy to use, would buy again.
Received a sample from Pinchme. Used Patak's tikka masala curry simmer sauce tonight with a chicken and rice dish. Pan fried breaded chicken breast in a skillet then added the full jar of Patak's tikka masala curry sauce and added water to the jar, adding that additional sauce to the skillet. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes. In the meantime I made white rice and served with the chicken and sauce. Was a yummy meal and would buy a jar of it the next time I go shopping.
We love the northern Indian cuisine found in most Indian restaurants. Chicken tikka is bone in chicken pieces marinated in yogurt and spices (and a pinch of red food coloring) and cooked in a tandoori oven. Often times, left over chicken tikka is deboned, chopped, and added to any number of sauces, chicken tikka masala or chicken makhani (butter chicken) in particular. The chicken tikka masala (masala just means spice mix) in restaurants is usually creamy and not chunky. Heat level of the masala is dependent on the request of the guest. This sauce right out of the jar almost reminds me of salsa. I managed to make it palatable for my husband by adding heavy whipping cream, butter, and quite a bit of SWAD brand madras curry powder I already had on hand. He declared it just as good as something he’d ordered in our favorite Indian restaurant. Over all, I’m not disappointed with the result and I will buy this brand again. It’s not surprising that it wasn’t a simple heat and eat sauce.
I got a free full sized Bottle of Patak's Tikka Masala from PinchMe. I tried it today and absolutely loved it. Very easy to make. I just crushed some Ginger and garlic and sautéed it in a little olive oil then added 1/4 cup of this sauce in it. Meanwhile I had marinated Paneer cubes in a little salt, turmeric powder and cayenne pepper powder.Toasted paneer pieces in a little oil on a non stick pan. When it became brown on all sides then I added this to a bowl with a little wter to keep them soft. Add those pieces to heated Tikka Masala sauce and put some chopped cilantro the top and serve it on a bed of rice, Serve hot with a pappad and raita.Suggested serving size /bottle is 7 the ingredients are not too many and are very simple to understand. Saturated fat is at .5 grams/serving. We are vegetarian's so I'll be making many more recipes with it e.g we can put this sauce in mixed Vegetables. We can also make fried potato cubes and peas and add those to the Tikka Masala sauce.I had never tried this sauce before now I have become a fan and plan on keeping couple jars in my pantry.Yummy! Thanks PinchMe and Patak's for my free product to try. I definitely will recommend these sauces to try they are tasty and a good curry gets made with in no time. This will be very helpful when we get unexpected guests.
This is my first time trying this brand and I enjoyed it quite well! I had some chicken thigh and vegetable pieces already cooked so all I had to do was to mix everything up in a frying pan. Then I had it over rice and it turned out pretty delicious. This is a tomato based sauce which also includes yogurt so it's pretty healthy and not overly salty. The labels says that it has a medium spicy level but to me it's not spicy at all. I would love for it to be more spicy! Overall very easy to incorporate into my meals and nice to have in the pantry.
