I Bought a new (to me) ute a few months ago, after searching for the correct spec oil I picked this as it had great reviews and recommendations. Only negative is that i cant find a 1L bottle of it, only comes in 5, 7 and 10L.My vehicle takes approx 7.3LOther than that its a great product.

Penrite Enviro+ Engine Oil 10W-40 7 Litre, I purchased this item and appeared to be quality oil however I attached the filling pipe supplied and commenced placing oil in the motor, the flimsy oil filling pipe became loose and fell off leaking oil all over the motor. This flimsy filling attachment supplied with the container should be carefully monitored or others could suffer the same damage. since using this oil my engine light has come on, this is a matter of concern and now forced to have a diesel workshop look into this problem.
My vehicle needs 6.6 litres. So I purchased the 7 litre container, but it only had 6 litres in it. Emptied the whole container into vehicle & it only just registers on the dipstick.
My oldish Triton has only done 3000 km since the last service, but with a synthetic oil I can safely service it once a year and a bit.This Penrite oil works fine in the olde tractor, with engine temperatures consistently 2-3 degrees lower compared to when running the dino oil it was filled with at purchase.And the Repco staff at Indooroopilly is always a dream to deal with.
Good value on sale. Enviro+ range of oils is suitable for use with vehicles fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter. Most important for the current range of diesel engines. Blocking up of the DPF requiring replacement is very expensive. This is normally reflected in the price of the suitable oils. Hence the need to constantly check special prices.European vehicles (such as VW) manufactured for cold european conditions, stipulate 5W-30 rated oils. These are light for Australia's warmer conditions, where a 5W-40 is more appropriate. Provided the DPF rating is covered.Penrite is an Australian company producing Australian made oils. Their synthetic range is high quality and preferred for vehicle maintenance and long term protection.

I use this in my 2018 vw amarok because it’s dpf compatible. Change oil and filter at 10,000 km intervals. Car has traveled 178,000 trouble free kilometres.
The best oil for my Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel. Many people do not understand the function of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).Soot will burn out, but ash does not burn and clogs the DPF. A low ash oil (and a catch can) are essential.
