ScoopFree Premium Crystal Litter 2pack

I really love this litter. Been using it for a few months now. I do still have to scoop the poop, but the pee just absorbs into the litter, so I'm scooping less. The litter does a great job of controlling smell too. Just make sure you change it often enough. I prefer to change it about every 10 days, but it can stretch to two weeks depending on how many cats are using it. I have three cats (two boxes) which is why I prefer to change it more often. I use two bags to fill my jumbo cat litter box and I use a liner to make changing it easier. Love that I can get this litter through Amazons subscribe and save program.

We used to use corn litter until we got ants, so in searching for an alternative I found crystal litter! It does the job well. Important to note it’s non clumping and instead you have to stir so the liquid is dried out and scoop solids daily. It lasts a long time and keeps odors down. A lot of people who don’t love cats have even commented that it doesn’t smell!

I hate cleaning cat litter and I never or very rarely use the word heat because I know how powerful it is and I’m very conscious of the fact that I’ve used it here and now. When I discovered the pet safe self cleaning system I couldn’t be happier I have not cleaned cat crap in seven years it is one of those products that I will continue to buy probably until I die. It works it’s low maintenance it’s very easy I don’t clean cat Pooh like ever. And you can buy the refill packs of the litter at Amazon which is the cheapest. I got this to try out before considering a monthly service. Very disappointed. In a very short time, it smelled terribly of ammonia. The crystals are quite coarse. They didn't stick effectively to the feces. Plus, they are all over the house. I literally step, sit, or see clear and blue crystals everywhere. This doesn't seem hygienic to me, and they are almost as bad as trodding on Legos. One of our guys thinks the crystals are meant to be played with, so he will dig at them like he's drilling for oil. This product is a never-buy-again for me.

The PetSafe scoop free automatic litter box has been a game changer. My kitty has health issues making her go potty often. These crystals dry out the waste helping eliminate odors before they are pushed into the discard area. Price wise it matches up to a box of litter. I get the pack of three for just under $60. One warning, if the Crystals are traveled outside of the box, they do hurt if stepped on. If they feel like this to a human I am skeptical how they feel on paws.

This is the current litter box system I use and honestly I am not too impressed. I thought this was going to be the best ever but it really isn’t. The positives to this system is it cleans itself so no scooping and it’s easy to change the litter. The negatives….this litter always stinks, I can change it and after 1-2 uses it smells no matter what litter deodorizer I put on it it stinks and the litter trays are ridiculously priced now, it’s now around $70 for 3 litter trays..I’m lucky if I can get a full week use out of one because they start smelling so easily (the purple crystals stink too, no fragrance to them..they honestly might be worse). I’m not misusing the box/litter either, it is in a well ventilated area with no moisture or anything.

This litter is ok, and pretty much like any of the other coarser-grained silica litter crystals out there. My cat is sensitive to how rough litter feels, and has been known to refuse to use them if it’s too coarse. When I put this into the litter box, I wasn’t sure if he would or not (luckily he did). The lavender smell is nice, but this litter is extremely dusty, to the point that if I was to buy it again I would probably winnow it outside in the breeze first. So, I have had better, and I’ve had worse. I probably will buy this again due to price.

Love this litter!!

This has got to be the best invention ever. It keeps the smell down and does what it is suppose to do, give your pet a fresh box everytime it does it's business. The only downside is the litter pebbles do find their way to other spaces of your home even with a litter mat. I highly recommend this product and wish they could offer some discounts on the product.

Useless waste of money

Works great the first week, but that's about it. I only have 1 cat who is approximately a year and a half old with no health issues. At 2 weeks the litter box began to smell of ammonia and already needed to be changed. So one bag only lasts half the time advertised. Because of this, my cat began urinating on other areas of the bathroom, like her litter box mat and in the tub. The litter itself DOES track and is painful to step on barefoot across tile floors. While sifting around for the feces, there is a dust that clouds up, causing you to cough and wonder what it is you're actually inhaling. When I changed the litter, I also noticed the blue crystals had stained the brand new litter box I had just brought 3 months ago!

very expensive,.... but....
