I have a few other brands of smart home technology now at home and love the convenience of it. I also like how depending on the setting you wanted you don't actually need the app to turn the bulb on and it acts like any other bulb.The only negative I can give, and I am unsure if it's something that I could actually fix myself, is that it doesn't save the setting I had it on last so when the lamp is turned back on it reverts back to its original setting.

I wanted to have basic lights with different intensity for the the dining and bathroom. They fit as expected and with a sensor it turned even better

Good product that is easy to set up with Alexa/Google. It's not usually something I would buy (I received it as part of a product trial) but that's not to say it's not worth it, if you're into your tech and enjoy voice control products then it's for you.Works well, no complaints. Nice warm light that is easily dimmed.
It's definitely a techies dream - it's not something I was necessarily missing, but now I have it, it's nice to have. Also to be able to turn lights off and on when you aren't home is a great burglar deterrent! I'm reasonably good with technology so install was straightforward, but I certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone that wasn't confident with apps/smart phones or similar tech as I think you would be paying a lot for features you won't use/
Love the ambiance bulbs - great for getting the right level of dimmed lighting, and so easy to turn up the brightness when needed.
I like to be able to change the light temperature and intensity, and this bulb does that without buying a special lamp. I use bright white light while working , and soft warm light while reading. I can control it from my phone with my other Hue lights.
Used the lightbulbs in a couple of lamps in our living room. The app was really easy to download and really intuitive to set the whole thing up. Didn't take long at all.The lamps are now much more versatile than they were before and you can choose from some pre-loaded options on the amp to generate different results for relaxing or doing something more active like reading or studying where you need a brighter light.If you don't like any of those options then it's really easy to manipulate it yourself and turn it on and off, brighter or dimmer.
Great lightbulbs which give you control over your lamps/lights without the need for smart plugs.The bulb is controlled by the WIZ app and you are able to choose on/off, white colours (warm, cool, night, etc), and dynamics (which are essentially pulsing patterns).The bulbs are dimmable which is I really like and look forward to using the in long winter months.I have given 4 out of 5 stars as it would have been perfect if the functionality was available through Alexa, to save requiring another app.
Hue bulbs are still the ones to beat in terms of quality and ecosystem reliability. But every year it becomes harder to extend the system. From a price perspective Hue is not competitive. If I had to start over (here in Switzerland) I would get an Ikea Tradfri system, they are getting very good, have many more options to integrate with furniture or the home itself, not just lightbulbs and lamps.
