I was a bit disappointed in these to be honest. It looks through the window like a beautiful glass and copper light. However in person it's plastic painted to look like copper, and the 'glass' is clear plastic that I'm sure won't look so nice in a few years.It wasn't false advertising, they just don't look as nice up close as they do from a distance.The lights themselves work fine. They were extremely easy to add to the Hue app and I had them working within a minute.Not having a on-off switch on the light is a little annoying. It would be nice to be able to simply tap somewhere on the light to turn it off.

Thought this was a quality glass-like casing but it was just plastic. With black cord and instructions to point toward a wall for better lighting affect ... it just looks ugly, cheep and nasty. We returned and went for the cheeper all-white model which was just fine.

This special edition Philips Hue Iris is an excellent spotlight for artwork and stands out from the rest of the Philips Hue range.
Beautiful light, that throws beautiful colours around the room. Stunning to look at, even when it's off.
