I have been utilising an indoor motion sensor positioned near the front door to trigger the external lights and was finding that distance to detection was too narrow. After replacing with the outdoor sensor the distance pick up was extended at least 8 -10m beyond the other sensor range, enabling a much broader security/visitor detection. I am very happy with the product, it was super easy to install and functions as per description.

I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and set it up the same day within my hue system. Works solidly and reliably as you would expect for Philips Hue products and I've had no issues with it. This stuff is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Great product to turn our already installed smart lights into sensor lights with minimal effort. Received them quickly from Harvey Norman Online. Great experience.
It is a motion sensor that awakes other Hue lights attached to it. At first I thought the sensor was also the light but you will need both the Hue Bridge plus a Hue light to activate it. Battery change is a matter of unscrewing four screw retainers at the back. For future some form of grip may be needed to pry open the rear replacement back ti get to the batteries. The unit is small enough and there are plates to fix it. The plastic cover is compact and the screw mounts have rubber seals to prevent water seepage. Overall the product has a quality feel and works a charm
