This product is great when it works. My first blades were fine, then I purchased a pack of replacement blades...totally different experience. The first one broke one of 4 hinges immediately. I thought I had accidentally mishandled it. I used it as best as I could but of course while taking the comb guide off the hinge on the opposite side broke. I made a point of being overly gentle with the second blade in the pack. 3 of 4 hinges broke almost immediately. Reading a 1 star review like this you'd wonder about the writer and if he's just too dumb to use the product properly, but my voice is just one of many who experienced these expensive product failures. This 3-pk of replacement blades is nearly as simple as it gets. I have already been using the Philips OneBlade for a while and received these replacement blades for free in exchange for this honest review.I regularly remove the blade on my OneBlade to clean some of the small hair that can tend to be stuck behind it. That makes me think about two things: First, unnecessary waste, and second, Phillips trying to make another buck, by having everyone replace their blades sooner than necessary.The OneBlade razors are not like a typical shaving razor that is getting nicks in the blade as easily and risk cutting your face. In addition, if you are using a trimmer head as opposed to straight on the face, if there were any slight nicks on the blade you do not risk any chance of cutting your face since the blades are not actually touching you. Granted you would have a decreased quality of cut though.Overall, I think the blades are exactly what they are advertised as, replacement blades. I would not expect any more or less than what you are currently experiencing with the original blade that came with the OneBlade set.

I already had in my possession the one blade but was not aware that the blade itself had been improved upon. I was happy to try the new blade and am so happy I did. I have a goatee beard which, when shaving, can be a little difficult to keep looking tidy, straight lines etc. Using the one blade with new blade has helped where other products do not. It is so easy to use, so smooth and trims brilliantly. Added to that, I am now also able to trim armpits and around my chest with ease, therefore keeping my body looking smarter and tidier as a result. No issues with possible cuts as other blades etc do happen to cause. Good product that is easy to use. My photos show the old type blade and new one

I love this shaver. It gives me a cleaner shave and closer shave than my other electric razor. It’s not like baby bum smooth but I like my little bit of stubble. Got to admit though it does go close enough to the point where you are supposed to have a shave. I love it and give it 5* I normally just use my electric other brand shaver and it leaves more stubble but this Philips one gets a much closer shave. Love how it just glides through the stubble.
My husband loves his Philips One Blade Rechargeable Slim line Razor. He said it’s worth it’s money and you need more blades then he will order them from the the online Shaver Shop in Melbourne, the 3 Blade pack is great for value as it costs you more to buy a 2 pack.You can trim, edge and shave and so easy to put the new blades on. I’m pleased that my wife bought this as a gift for me. Definitely recommend it. So why not buy one and try it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. 😃 Oh and you get 4 Stubble Combs and the running time is one hour 👍
I’ve been using the one blade for about 4-5 years and have enjoyed it. The blades last for a reasonable amount of time and are fairly priced. That’s why I was super disappointed when I went to buy more and saw that they are charging the same price for a single blade that they use to charge for two. On top of that, during my second shave, all the plastic on the blade crumpled and fell apart. Sad to see another company decrease the quality of its products to increase profits.
The Philips OneBlade 2 replaceable blades are easy to use with no risk of cutting yourself.They don't irritate my skin like other products.When using the comb on the lowest setting the blade gives me a really close shave but not too close to cause skin irritation. The blades are quick and easy to use and they don't miss hairs or leave patches, they just leave me with a nice even stubble.The hair on my chin and neck can be course and tough, however these blades glided through them without any pulling or tugging on the hair which can be quite uncomfortable.They can be used wet or dry and give a great shave either way.The interchangeable blades for face and body are very useful. I got this beard trimmer because I had been looking for a ward trimmer that gives the same degree of control as shaving with a straight razor., but doesn't bring the hassle of use that goes along with them. This trimmer is everything I was looking for. The blades are so small and precise that you can angle the trimmer to cut individual hairs. It gives a close enough shave that it has replaced my other razors, and the adjustable guard allows me to maintain an even length in a quick and efficient fashion. I am very pleased with this trimmer and will be continuing to use it as long as I can get replacement blades.

The addition of the indicator strip is great because it removes the guesswork of when it's time to change blades.The only other improvement I would have liked to have seen is some way to reduce the number of tiny nooks and crannies for hair to get trapped in. Thought i found a steal on replacement heads but these are not like all the other Philips OneBlades ive used. The plastic that allows the blade to swivel and contour to your neck is much thicker than normal so the blades had limited mobility and couldnt contour to the curve on my neck. i was initially excited to see the marginally thicker plastic on these blades because i find the normal OneBlades to be too delicate, i have like 4 broken ones in a drawer. However, without the ability to bend easily they were unusable for my situation. I believe theyre genuine Philips branded blades, possibly a bad batch?
