The focus of the P Zero Race is entirely on maximum performance. The design of the tread is identical to that of the Tubeless Ready version of the same name, as is the rubber compound used. The P Zero Race is made from the SmartEVO compound. With the know-how gained from over 110 years of tradition in motorsport, Pirelli has put together a blend of three functional polymers with "smart" properties that form the basis of SmartEVO's outstanding performance. Each of the three polymers has specific performance characteristics.When combined, they guarantee the optimum balance of grip and rolling resistance. Complete, on the other hand, in this model is the structure of the carcass in nylon with 120 TPI, designed for use with air tube and in conformity with the standards for 19C rims (inside rim width) according to ETRTO.
