Software suite is solid and I'm happy to report less actual bugs then I've had with Team green over the last two years. It's been about 60 days and through a mix of titles (COD MW2, Chernobylite, Forza Horizon 5, Sea of theives etc), I've had zero issues. Highly recommend. Great card at a really good performance per dollar number.I run all my games at 1440p with everything cranked on max and have not had any issues. Most everything runs at over 100FPS and hovers around the 100 mark with Raytracing on using FSR.

Excellent Cooling

I haven't done a burn-in test yet, but it seems like the hotspot issues that some reference cards exhibit are not likely to be present in this model. My only complaint is that this card does have a noticeable coil whine at full load, which is possibly more prominent due to the quietness of the fans. Excellent card but coil whine is an issue

This is one of the better XTX models you can get. Performance wise, the temps are amazing, the fans are almost silent even under load, runs everything at 1440p on ultra, and it's a great looking card. No driver issues so far. Value wise, a lot cheaper than Nvidia.Unfortunately, it does have coil whine under load which can be pretty noticeable at times. I used AMD software to cap my FPS at 165 with all programs and that helped a little bit. I also use headphones which muffles a lot of the noise. Going to try stress testing later to see if that helps reduce it.So I highly recommend this card and really like mine, but with the caveat that if coil whine is a huge issue you, maybe try a different model.

Exchanged the reference for the Devil
16 February 2023

At first, I was kind of disappointed, I exchanged my reference 7900 XTX for one of these, and that card had issues. However, I returned that card and exchanged it for the exact same model and have had zero issues since. This card is beautiful, and HUGE. Do keep that in mind! Also, pro-tip for people looking for answers dealing with coil whine... If you have an older power supply, or have one less than 1000 watts, the coil whine will be there. I had a 5-year-old 1000-Watt EVGA GQ gold, I replaced it with a 1300W supernova, and the coil whine is completely gone. I put my card in the wife's PC, which she 1200-watt Supernova, it's a few years old, the coil whine was nonexistent in her PC as well.

Great GPU, if you hear whining? Its your PSU!
25 February 2023

I bought two of those cards and unfortunately returned it, thinking they had loud coil whine only to find out that with my new 4080 I got instead, my PC is making the same grinding sounds... It was impossible to tell that the noise was coming from PSU not GPU! When everything was mounted in the case (New build) After purchasing first Red Devil 7900xtx I went back and returned my Gold EVGA 850 GT PSU and got EVGA Platinum 1300P Supernova instead, and that combination was making exactly the same weird (dental drill like) sounds! So I returned my red devil and got recommendation from Micro Center rep to give it a try one more time and they gave me next brand new Red Devil. After installation I was very disappointed because nothing changed my new AMD build PC seemed A ... MoreI bought two of those cards and unfortunately returned it, thinking they had loud coil whine only to find out that with my new 4080 I got instead, my PC is making the same grinding sounds... Next day I went back and made exchange for 4080 oc strix and that started grinding again! At this point I was frustrated and desperate. But I went back to Micro Center to grab one more PSU before closing, this time I got Asus Rog Thor 1000W Platinum and that did it! My PC is finally silent. I feel very disappointed with EVGA power supply's (incoming one stars!) and thankful for Micro Center understanding and return polices, Thank You.P.S. Take your PSU out of the case to listen for coil whine.

I was skeptical BUT(worth it!) Metal on the fans!!
21 April 2023

I have had some of the typical Driver issues that come with being an early adopter of new tech from team Red (AMD). Nothing that kept me from gaming, just quarks and they are all gone by now. I'm mostly playing the Witcher at 1440 ultrawide (Max settings) and I love this card. Butter smooth and FPS are 150ish (120-190). I play Battlefield 4,1,5; SO MUCH FPS! I don't have to pay the MASSIVE prices that team green charges. I bought open box and there is coil wine but it's same as my nephew's 3080! The look feel and quality of the card is well beyond all the 4090s that i have touched... When i first bought PowerColor i was skeptical, but they have won me over. I tried Asrock and it felt way to cheep for me to be spending over a grand on...

Jumped back on team red
1 June 2023

Haven't bought AMD video cards since the 295x2 days. Tired of team green and overpricing so, upgraded my 1080ti SLI rig. This card is mounted vertically so have no heat issues. Awesome performance with the new star wars and last of us remake. I am on a Samsung 49' 1440 monitor. While playing star wars my GPU mem utilization is as high as 21gb. This card is quiet even under load. I get no coil whine. RGB software hasn't conflicted with icue or ASRock RGB. The only reason this is not a 5 star is the price. Even today, I don't accept $1000+ for flagship cards as a great deal, that's the reason I left team green. Still a great card and I'd recommend it over a 4090+ any day.... especially with nvidias pricing for their flagship.

Seems to be a good solid card for the money
30 January 2023

I have no complaints with the card itself, but the packaging and even the companies website was a bit lacking in information. It took 10 minutes to even find a reference to the card or the support downloads. After getting the driver installed (and figuring out how to best mount the mini-scaffolding to support the card's weight), there were no problems. The game plays WoW on ultra everything without even breaking a sweat. One side note that doesn't seem to be impacting the card's performance is that one of the prongs that supports the RGB color swapping looked like it was broken off in manufacturing. I don't really care about that, and the red color is quite cool as a default.Great card for the money so far- temperatures are well within acceptable margins.

True high frame rate 4K card
3 February 2023

I've had it for three weeks now and am thoroughly impressed. I previously owned an RTX 3080 and my justification for that card was a no compromises 4K 60 FPS experience. It mostly delivered on that with the help of DLSS. But even previous generation games were starting to max out the 10gb of VRAM and I knew next gen games were going to go beyond that. So now I've been using this RX 7900 XTX and I'd say most games are around the 100FPS mark either natively or with the help of FSR 2.0 which delivers very similar image quality to DLSS now. Some games are a little below the 100 FPS and some are above. But I feel confident in calling it a true high frame rate 4K card that should have no problem handling upcoming titles. No one said the 3090 or 3090 TI were bad at ray tracing until the 40 series cards came out. Take that how you will. Does have coil whine

Would never buy AMD again.
6 March 2023

I’ve heard for awhile that NVIDIA is over priced and AMD. has really stepped up their game. Over the past couple weeks I had a 6950xt that I swapped for a 7900xt because of frame rate issues. The 7900xt was defective and so I returned it and bought the 7900XTX. The xtx worked for about 1 weeks and then refused to power anymore so I swapped that out for a new one, this new one now has so many driver issues that after having to reinstall the 7 times in a row, on the 8th time reinstalling and doing a factory reset the computer would no longer turn on. I plugged in my friends 4080ti and my computer immediately booted, no graphics issues or driver issues. I have learned my lesson that AMD is nothing but cheap discount brand. I will return this and purchase a 4080ti.
