The complexion perfecting hydrator is the perfect add to the three step deluxe system. I personally don't experience any dryness from using Proactiv products because I have combination skin, so this product gives the right amount of moisture that I need. I would apply this as the last step in the system right before bed. sometime I would apply the advance dark spot correcting serum right after. I have been using this system every night before bed for three weeks and I have seen a drastic change in my acne breakouts and my dark spots have faded. I want to thank Proactiv for gifting me this product to test for my own personal review.

I have normal, acne prone skin. I've always had at least one breakout on my face at all times. (annoying, embarrassing..etc). Breakouts are usually around my chin, cheeks, and forehead. As you can imagine, I also have acne scars. This product is my holy grail! I see a huge difference in my skin (I've been using this for a few weeks now). My skin has gotten consistently clearer by the day! and has kept acne from forming! Worth every penny! I will continue to use this + repurchase. I tried this for the first time tonight after my husband brought it home for me 😍 HOWEVER, the first thing I noticed was that very specific silicon feeling you get from a primer. Ladies and gents, this will clog your pores UP if you use it at night, dimethicone is the FOURTH ingredient. I would really like this if it was marketed as a blurring primer because it really did make my skin look nice and I'll keep using it as such but you best believe after looking up the ingredients I immediately washed it off my face before going to bed. Will probably use it in the morning as a primer in my makeup routine and see what happens. Proactiv, dont claim to be noncomedogenic in all your products if its simply not true.
Such a nice light weight gel cream texture, cooling when you first apply it and it absorb into the skin super fast. Hydrates my skin without leaving any residue or tacky feeling. Makes my face feel smooth and moisturized. This was sent as a replacement for Moisture Repair bcz Moisture Repair has been discontinued I was told. This replacement just doesn't compare to the other! I'm so sad they are disco timing the Moisture Repair as it is the only facial lotion Ive been able to use. And when I found it I was SOOOO stoked bcz it had properties like honey and I know honey is amazing for acne but I needed more than honey gave for Moisture. I hope they bring it back!!! This product is very drying but not very good at healing or revitalizing. If you're on your teens, probably would be a great choice. I was looking to treat hormal chin acne in my late 30s, I had to incorporate extra retinol and other products to get the full benefit of drying out the acne.
I love this product. Ulta stopped carrying it in the store and now I can only purchase it online. huge inconvenience. The moisturizer is great for older skin, acne prone skin,and keeping your skin hydrated. I use it twice a day. I am very unhappy about the huge price increase. Big bummer, but I need the product.
I have used Proactiv since I was a teen. Always worked for me. when Proactiv+ came out I tried it and loved it on my older more sensitive skin. I was so happy when I found out Ulta was carrying it because I didn't want the hassle of the subscription. My bad review is not of the product, but what I was given from Ulta. The expiration date is 11/23 and I received it on 9/23. I understand if used as directed it should be used in a month, but I use the product as a maintenance and it works for me well that way.
