I discovered this late on with my first daxi who was an overweight wire haired with terrible skin bad breeding line and the weight fell off him plus coat and skin improved. So, started my second mini-longhaired as soon as I got her 3yrs old unwanted breeding line and although she picked for the first 2 weeks she had been fed the cheapest tinned food you can get previously she loves it now and her fur has grown in beautifully and any spare weight she had from breeding went quickly. She runs to the dish now and eats the lot in one go. The measured portions mean she isnt putting any weight on and her fur is growing to a show length on her legs and tail with a real gloss look on it. Will definitely keep on feeding it to her.

We changed our 11 month old and 13 month old to adult Dachshund food about a week ago. They love it and are now more satisfied. We've had no problems in making the change
I actually buy this for my two Chihuahuas and it lasts months. The great thing about it is that it’s not too hard on their tiny teeth and it keeps them regular. I have been buying this for literally years from pet circle. Definitely recommend.
My pup started this when he was 10months old (currently 11months) and the transition has been so easy from the puppy version to this one. My pup wakes up excited for this every morning as well. Loves his breakfast. I would recommend adding a scooper in there so that we know the appropriate amount more easily hence the 4.5/5. But great breakfast otherwise.
My standard Dachshund loved this kibble when we first brought it 4 months ago to try; but she seems to have gone off of it now, despite putting different flavoured wet food with it.Her coat has been lovely, smooth and silky and her teeth are in excellent condition since she has been on Royal Canin.It is a shame they don't produce this kibble in other flavours as sadly my Dachshund won't touch it now. I would have loved to have kept her on this food.Overall, I have been very pleased with this product and I would recommend to over Dachshund owners. However, I would recommend starting with the smaller bag as I am now left with a 7.5kg bag of dog food that my dog won't eat!
I would absolutely definitely recommend this product. My dachshunds loves this dry foot. Their fur is shiny and healthy among other things(NO 2’s). Also delivery is super quick. I fed this product to my 11 month old mini dachshund who was on a different brand before. Since he was on this diet, he started losing weight. He also became more hyperactive, more alert and finding it harder to settle and rest. We fed way more than the recommended amount for a 6kg dog however he continued to be hungry and became really skinny.
I've been buying this for 2 years now after switching from another major brands breed specific formula. Our snag had major blockages and had to have surgery as a result. I was recommended this by the Vet. Since then not a single problem. His hair is amazingly smooth and shiny and most importantly, maintains a very trim healthy shape/weight. Have recommended it to so many other long dogs and could seriously never consider any other product. Highly Recommend
