Great entry level corded jigsaw, very easy to change blades. Replaces a 30 year old Makita jigsaw which still works beautifully but can't buy blades for it anymore!

I purchased the jigsaw about two weeks ago. It is very well designed for its purpose and the vacuum attachment feature is great for managing saw dust on the bench. It has plenty of power and smooth operation. I'm a DIY nut and this has been a great addition to my tool kit. I would recommend it to any other DIY enthusiast. I used it to make a gothic cross. see photo.
This is the second one I've got in a year. First one blade holder broke and cut to the left. This one cuts to the left as well. Even with a clamped guide blade turns left. Be good to cut circle.
I’ve used lots of mains jigsaw as in my 35 years of life, from Hitachi, Makita and others. I brought this one for light duty work on plywood, and it’s terrible. No power, vibrates like a banshee, it’s noisy feels like it could send you into low earth orbit. They blades that come with it are clearly made by Stevie Wonder so I brought some good ones and that made no difference.In summary, this sucks. Next time I’m forced to use it it will probably be given flying lessons.0/10 would not recommend even to a sworn enemy.
Great little jigsaw. Good value for money. Perfect on small jobs. If you’re needing to cut larger timber, I would definitely suggest investing in a better one but for small DIY job or projects, this little guy served me well!
Bought 2 weeks ago, as a replacement for my 10 year Ozito. The quick release clutch is such a relief over screw in type It feels quite balanced to use. Has plenty of power and feels more controllable than my old one. Quite smooth to use. Another great feature is the visibility of the blade. The safety barrier doesn't interfere at all with watching the cut which is a heaps better design than many others. Quite a pleasure to use, and for $70... well that's another bonus.
This jigsaw won’t cut straight, vibrates badly and wants to go any direction but straight. Don’t waste your time spend the money and go makita ir Milwaukee
Having used my daughter's Ryobi Jigsaw today for the first time I can tell you it is the worst I've ever had the displeasure to handle. It won't cut straight even when using a fence. I've owned a Bosch for nearly 40 years and it still works like new. Go buy the Bosch, don't mess about. I even use mine for cutting branches up to 75mm thick. This one is deadly!
