This Ryobi radio is better than I expected. No loss of signal whatsoever. I was going to go for the stereo Ryobi radio but the sound quality from this is very good. A 2.5ah battery lasts for over 16 hours. I have used it in the shed, in the house and outside and cannot fault it. Thank you Halfords for a fast delivery, keep up the good work.

Great little radio. Would be better with more USB ports. Got this one when we had power outage after cyclone Gabriel and wanted something to charge phones etc. Worked a treat. Now want Ryobi to make a portable solar panel to charge my Ryobi one batteries 😉

Bought this for hubby for xmas so he has some sounds for the garage. Great wee radio. Having it run through the one+ battery is an added bonus and it matches all his other gear. Works a treat, picks up the stations well and has pretty good sound for its size. Main thing is hes happy as so win win all round. Thanks Ryobi.

This so far has proven to be a very nice unit, AM and FM reception has so far had no issues, bluetooth has a strong connection with very good range with easy pairing. Included AAA batteries maintain clock and station presets which is very nice.Some small issues are:• Needs a screw driver to open AAA battery area instead of a clip lid• Screen could do with a dim/backlight off setting for at night• A 2.1A USB port would be better for charging bigger devices/supporting fast charging• Volume goes to 16, while functionally not an issue it would seem more professional and of better quality if the max volume was either a multiple of 5 or 10 for uniformity.Overall this has shown to be a good unit, works well in cars without aux/BT radio, sturdy construction ... MoreThis so far has proven to be a very nice unit, AM and FM reception has so far had no issues, bluetooth has a strong connection with very good range with easy pairing. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. This Bluetooth radio is a great purchase! It’s cheap, it’s easy to use and it gives out great sound. No static sound, no issues, very light weighted. Very happy with this purchase!!
Pretty good sound from a robust radio. I use it in the garage when im pottering around. Easy bluetooth connect to my iphone to stream music. Rechargable battery great with Ryobi One system. Would make a new Christmas present.
I bought this a week ago and have been using the FM radio feature every day. I live in a large city with many good strong signaled radio stations available. While the unit finds and locks onto stations nice and clear, after some time the reception goes bad requiring the station to be changed or unit turned off. This happens without anything changing around the unit to affect the ground plane and plenty of battery left. Possibly an internal circuit heating issue. If like me you want it for the radio don't bother, I already have a very good bluetooth speaker. VERY DISAPOINTING.
Solid unit, Bluetooth works wellThe radio is useless. You can tune into a station, it is clear and plays well. After about 10 mins it will just play staticI’ve returned it once and my second one does exactly the same.Clearly a defect in the design. Read the reviews it is a common fault that Ryobi haven’t fixed.
Great product! Just like all the other Ryobi tools I’ve bought, always reliable and looks good too.Bigger size in person then it looks online and very easy to use, has plenty of preset slots making swapping from station to station very easy
