Bought today and already put to use. This thing is just great for a suburban garden and will be ideal for camping. Easy to handle, very quick to set up and easy to adjust. I’m curious about the no-oil chain but will trust that Ryobi knows what it’s doing. Happy customer.

This is one amazing little chainsaw in my collection of garden slayers. As a woman in her early 70s, the big pull cord chain saws are out. I am not strong but still need to cut back small trunks to make my garden manageable. I chose the smaller version as it doesn’t require maintenance and couldn’t be happier with my choice.
This little electric chainsaw is just what I needed to trim branches. Recently we had a storm and a tree fell down. This chainsaw was easy and light for stripping the branches while a larger chainsaw dealt with the tree trunk.
I bought this chainsaw for my wife to cut up the smaller firewood pieces up to 100mm thick. She loves it and it's pretty much maintenance free.The only negative is the chain tensioner is a pain to adjust as the screw just isn't coarse enough but I finally found an easy way.To adjust the chain, back off the bar cover a few turns, then adjust your chain tensioner. Then re tighten bar cover bolt.
Works for my needs cutting up fallen tree branches and trimming low branches. But the instructions say not to use it while standing on a ladder and not to cut limbs above chest level. I didnt. It had plenty of power to cut through a 2 to 3 inch branch and made a smooth, clean cut. I am happy to have it.
Very surprised at the output and simply the available power. Cut with ease. Moved onto next job minutes later. Motivated to try hedging
Very Surprised about the versatility of such a small saw. Used it after a storm went thru and made a mess of my yard. Very hesitant to buy such a small saw. Well I was so surprised how it kept up with the petrol powered saw.Highly recommended for camping or gardening
I have a (20cm) Pole Pruner for high branches and frequently wished that I had something to cut and prune low and close branches - along came the (20cm) Pruning Chainsaw. Brilliant, job done.
