The surface scrubber is great for using on my deck and pool surrounds, the optional scourer attachment was great for removing heavy buildup up on my garage floor. This tool as returned my deck to how it looked when it was first built. It makes the job of cleaning a pleasure. Works best with the 5ah battery.

Purchased this to clean a mouldy wooden deck tread side up.Great for the job 4 amp battery almost did the whole job.You will get messy but beats manual scrubbing .Not great on concrete path.

Purchased this tool to scrub my 81m2 wooden deck that wraps around two sides of my house. Use to use a deck broom to scrub the deck when washing down. Put this tool through its paces giving a hard scrub. Less effort and less time to complete the task with really good results. Did need to replace the 5ah battery to finish a hard scrub but for a general clean a 5ah battery sees you through. Really happy with this purchase.

I have a large hardwood decked area that was really filthy and needed a good scrub before oiling. I'd been looking at this for a while as the thought of doing it by hand was too much to bear. I finally took the plunge and bought this with one of the twin drill / twin 4amp battery packs. All I can say is this thing literally halved the work required to get the job done. It's turned a 2+ day manual scrubbing job, into a job I could fit in within 1 day, and without such a sore back. So it gets five start just for that. 1 negative is there is no way to lock the trigger down so you get a sore hand after a while. I improvised and used a cable tied instead... a bit crude but does the job. Also, it doesn't get into all the tight spots the average deck has, so you'll still ... I nearly didn’t purchase this unit because of the negative reviews on pavers and concrete (where a pressure washer is the only real option). For smooth-ish surfaces like decking and tiles this thing is a wonder - but also much kinder to tile grout than a pressure washer. Decking that was slippery and downright dangerous when wet is now safe to walk on, and even our earlier pressure-washing attempts weren’t as effective as this. You’ll need two of the larger 5AH+ batteries and a fast charger for continuous non-stop work. It needs to be used with plenty of water to hose off the grunge as you go. Buy yourself some gumboots - the spray skirt catches most but not all of the muck.
I recently bought the powered outdoor scrubber/broom to clean my deck before restraining. It did an incredible job and I was super happy with how the boards came up, after using this tool with some water and deck cleaner. This tool is a tool I have dreamt about for years, makes scrubbing those hard surfaces easy. The scrubbier is light weight, has a powerful spin action that breaks away stubborn residues with ease.I have multiple scrubbers, I have bought multiple scrubbers to make hard floor cleaning more efficient, this battery operated scrubber is the best small sized battery scrubber I have used, perfectly compliments my Truvox Multiwash (battery) and Floorwash machines.I would love to have additional softer brushes available but in the interim this scrubber is very good.The Ryobi One+ batteries provide sufficient power for this scrubber.Well done Ryobi, another brilliant tool added to my Ryobi One+ collection.
After reading the feedback I was of two mind’s about buy this and am very pleased I did. We have a wooden deck 4.5 by 9 mtrs and a chocolate Labrador so need to scrub it at the start of spring and a few times over the summer months, this made a task I hated into an easy mornings work however it would be nice to have a trigger lock.
So far so good. Prepping a wooden deck that hasn't been treated for ten years so using this has really lifted the layers of dirt that has been built up over the years. Initially unit felt quite heavy, but once adjustments were made for the length of the bar and positioning of the handle I could be more relaxed and less strained using it. Was using with the 4ah battery so if using with a smaller battery could help as well. I'm not the strongest person around so anyone should be able to handle it. Easy to clean as well. Not too noisy given the job. Works better on a wet surface, just scrubs up nicer.
does a awesome job and cleaning deck boards before stain. Much easier and more consistent than using a manual scrubbing broom. 30sqm can be done in under 45 and half a charge on 5ah battery.the splash guard gets in way and of no use anyway.
