We opted for this 649L Samsung Refrigerator with the four French doors, without the Cold water plumbing and automatic Ice Maker as we find that precious space is taken up with that water/ice equipmen. The Manual ice maker with ice cube storage is adequate for us. How hard is it to occasionally take out the upper tray and fill the little spaces with water. Later turn the knob and wallah, there is our ice in the storage tray beneath. Much less space taken up. No centre partician leaves all the shelf space in the refrigerator. Great lighting. Great Temperature display for both upper and lower compartments. Maintains the set temperatures. Ease of levelling and easy to clean.Bloody good product Samsung

Love the exterior appearance, silver colour is not too shiny. Quiet, great interior shelf space, but limited door shelf space for drink bottles compared to LG. Ice tray takes up too much space in freezer shelf, and doesn’t work well. Would have liked suspended bottle rack under a shelf. 6 egg container on door shelf not adequate, as always buy 1 dozen eggs. Cooling/freezing good.

Fridge looks fancy and nice, works good too but I would not buy this fridge again, a few things I am not very impressed with: Handle would be better having on sides not bottom of doors.(pretty low for me) Doors are pretty narrow so its better to open both doors. Did not realize about the middle sealing piece on one of the doors that is a bit annoying and actually you are not able to open 1 vego slide box if you leave this door closed. No light in the freezer but does not really bother me. Annoying sound when you open doors that cannot be turned off. Compare to my old fridge that was 570L, this fridge is only 488L but more bulkier wider and deeper. Was expecting to be a bit quieter. Doors won't close fully if you just let the door go and walk away. We upgraded To our 649L Samsung 4 Door Fridge as they have a good reputation, Looks Classy, suits Modern decor and a very practical Refrigerator. We opted not to have the icemaker and Water Jug Cooler as they take up the Fridge storage space. Ice making in a tray is simple and takes up less space. Great deal from the Good Guys as usual. We had to cut into the wall cavity to give it the space and installed wall vents to stairwell behind. That took some removal of studs and Noggins and a little repalstering. Was well worth it.

It is very convenient to have refrigerator in the upper body as you can access it while standing. We are also happy with overall cooling. The cooling is uniform throughout the fridge. Separate thermostats for refrigerator and freezer are cherries on the top. We found that these thermostats regulate internal temperatures of the fridge pretty accurately. We had a Samsung refrigerator for 15 years without any problems. Decided to purchase Samsung again. And we are not disappointed. We love our new fridge, the features are amazing, the layout great, so easy to navigate around. The water and icemaker are unique, inside a special compartment within the fridge, which does not take up hardly any space. The freezer section is fabulous too, several compartments and shelves, so easy to see everything. We also love the matte black finish on the outside of the fridge.
I replaced my Samsung side by side fridge -that I loved, after 12 years of loyal service with a new Samsung French Door 7000 series. OMG!! I love! Love! Love! this Fridge. Any excuse to go to it! It looks beautiful inside and out! Beautiful clean SS finish outside opens to a spatial interior, a real entertainer. The Freezer is great too, the shelves on the doors are perfect for little bags and smaller items. And today I realise that a I had a small drawer for cans!! it just keeps giving. I'm so happy!!
I was made to buy this fridge by a pushy goodguys worker. Its just a fridge....no bells or whistles..literally. Our last fridge broke during a power outage, I can't tell if this fridge is on or off without pressing a button or opening the door. There is also no alarm on the door and you have to physically close the door or it will just swing open. Its badly designed. I don't like this fridge at all. Plenty cheaper just all were too big.
Beatiful fridge,in terms of design and features. Powerfull cooling system, ideal size for a small family (4 people). Fridge was delivered for free and well protected, anyway we found a noticeable dent when removing the protective packaging probably done when in storage or in transit. I've reported this to Samsung and they told me that they will in touch.
We bought the floor stock for a cheaper price as it had a couple of scratches on it. Well worth the money. The size of the fridge is great, we are a family of 4 and struggle to fill it up. The shelving for the fridge is nice and big and we can easily fit our 3 litre milks in them with room to move. The freezer is easy to stack things in, the shelving is also decent compared to a lot of models we looked at, and its easy to access. Its great as it alarms if you leave the door open wide enough and it is definitly loud enough to hear from another area in the house. You do need to make sure the doors are closed firmly but that is the beauty of the alarm. Overall we love it and couldn't be happier in our choice.
