Amazing how crystal clear this TV is!

I have had this TV, the 75" QN800C, for two days now. I was skeptical, but the screen really is razor sharp and crystal clear. It's also exceptionally bright, for those who are concerned with daylight glare from windows. The "black" screen is actually black, not dark gray, faded black, etc. I'm using an Onkyo-6100 receiver for surround sound and the eARC & CEC work flawlessly right out of the box for the TV sound to be "off" and the tv remote controls the receiver's volume, so in other words, the integration between the two is seamless, even though they're different brands. The Samsung TV detected this and set it up automatically. The initial setup was a breeze using the app on my S23 phone. My only gripes would be the "elf-sized" remote because I have big hands, and the lack of internet connection speed when you look at the network status screen. It shows the IP address, and says "connected" but does not show at what speed, which seems stupid. I played back some 8k videos I recorded of my son's basketball game and the clarity is unreal. So I would give this tv a 10 out of 10 overall.

Now the tv has a vignette of bleeding light arounf the entire outer edge so that my blacks look blurry Grey. I immediately call Samsung and they tell me that they can't do anything until the service ticket is closed so I'll have to call back on Monday. I'm fighting against the clock here to be able to return my tv for a full refund. So Monday comes and I call. I refuse to want them to "repair" the tv again. I get on the phone with a manager who then says he's talking to the exchange/refund department and they say I'm not eligible because I've only done 1 repair. WHY AM I EVEN REPAIR A BRAND NEW 7 DAY OLD TV!? Samsung you have really dropped the ball on customer care. I'm asking you to do the right thing and exchange my brand new TV with a brand new TV because I'm going to end up taking it back and maybe not even going with a samsung after this experience. I hope nobody else has to experience the headache and aggravation that I've had to experience. As of now I'm waiting 2 more days till Wednesday to get a "repair" done again.

Great 8K QLED Tv
24 December 2023

I did not read the reviews before purchase, however my experience with Samsung TV is fortunately much better. My Samsung 40 inch 6 series 3D LED TV bought in 2012 is still working perfectly. This is my 5th Samsung TV. I went for 85 inch for my orangery. I went to Currys & saw Sony as well as Panasonic & LG. I felt this was the best in the amount i had in mind. I went for 8K this time & i am not disappointed at all.I had installation from Samsung as well though they did not tidy the cable which was disappointing unfortunately as they were not allowed that, was bit rubbish. Sound is not as impressive as mentioned by Samsung but i got the sound bar which solved the problem. The only QLED TV which was superior to this in picture quality was 9 series or LG OLED compared to this , both were £1000 + more dearer do i went for this. I definitely recommend it.I have not used the after sale service at the moment as not needed.

Samsung Neo Qled 8k Review

The "Samsung Neo Qled 8k Smart TV" is not only my first smart TV, but also my first Samsung TV. With that being said, this is by far the best TV I've ever had.The picture quality is unbelievably good and so clear. When I turn up the brightness for things like really dark shows or horror movies, it doesn't interfere with the experience! The picture remains clear instead of getting foggy like other tvs that I've owned. The sound quality is about what you'd expect from a TV in this price range, so nothing special to comment on there.Durability, this TV is tougher than it looks. My 3 year old likes to throw things and he's why I have this TV now. I'm happy to say that this TV isn't going anywhere! I think it's well worth the price, it fit just within my budget, and it fit all the requirements that I needed in a TV. I don't feel like I've paid too much for it, so I have no buyer's remorse.

The QN800C by Samsung is a masterpiece. Taking the plunge for this TV is well worth it. My previous TV was a 4k LG OLED and the QN800C with its 8K Neo QLED blows away the OLED in every way imaginable. The QN800C is the brightest TV I have ever experienced, and this makes for outstanding viewing in my bright living room during the day. For me, quality of the picture is what I care about the most and the Samsung QN800C exceeds all expectations. The 8K content is already starting to become available and I put the QN800C through the paces to see if the 8K hype is really worth it, and I can tell you it really really is, especially the larger you go with panel size, the difference between 4K and 8K becomes more and more noticeable. More importantly, it upgrades 4K content ... MoreThe QN800C by Samsung is a masterpiece. Taking the plunge for this TV is well worth it. More importantly, it upgrades 4K content to 8K content with its Neural Quantum Processor. This is my first Samsung TV, and the Quantum Matrix Pro with Mini LEDs coupled with the Neo Quantum HDR 8K make pictures look astounding. The frame of the Infinity One Design compliments the sleek and modern aesthetic I am going for in my home and the Slim One Connect box helps me keep all my cables tucked away and out of sight! This TV has some very cool speakers on the back panel and they support Dolby Atmos right out of the box. One thing I am excited to try out is pairing the QN800C with Samsung sound bars to unlock Q-Symphony 3.0 so the TV speakers can mesh with my sound bar for a synchronized sound experience. An issue I had with my LG OLED tv was that the bright living room would reflect off the TV. The Samsung QN800C has a Anti-Glare coating that is miles better than the OLED and makes the clarity and quality of the panel pop even more! To put it into perspective just how brilliant the images are, I took some photos of the TV playing a 8K YouTube video and have attached them below. It took me a while to make the plunge and spend the money on the Samsung QN800C. Now that I have experienced it, I am confident I went with the right call and would do it again! Seeing is believing and I am definitely a believer.

Will 2024 TVS have superior upscaling with ratings
27 November 2023

THIS IS A REVIEW I POSTED ON RITINGS WHO DO EVALUATIONS ON TV'SWill 2024 TVS have superior upscaling with ratings reaching a 10?I recently purchased a 2023 Samsung 850 8K 85 inch tv from Costco for $4,000 and I must say the upscaling of Blu-Ray discs has much to be desired for the price I paid. I had to take the sharpness control down to 0 to get a fairly decent image. Why?I have a top of the line 88 inch 4K TV by Samsung that can take the same Blu-ray Disc and upscale it to close to 4k and it looks fabulous compared to the 8k tv.It appears according to Ritings, Sony and Lg TV’s can achieve a 9 and 9.1 for upscaling why can’t Samsung hit this mark puzzles me in an 8ktv or their 4K models. Most people who pay top dollar for a TV want to see the difference in ... MoreTHIS IS A REVIEW I POSTED ON RITINGS WHO DO EVALUATIONS ON TV'SWill 2024 TVS have superior upscaling with ratings reaching a 10?I recently purchased a 2023 Samsung 850 8K 85 inch tv from Costco for $4,000 and I must say the upscaling of Blu-Ray discs has much to be desired for the price I paid. I understand in the Ritings lab now is a 2023 top of the line Samsung 8K tv. I’m anxious to see what your review will tell us in the upscaling ability.I most likely will return my 8K tv and hope that 2024 will be much better in the upscaling dept as many of us have hughe collections of Blu-Ray movies that we want to see them reproduced better on an 8K screen than a 4k screen.Thank you Ritings for your continued support to give us the best advice to buy a TV that does the things that are important to the consumer.I should have listened to you that Sony appears to do the best in the upscale dept on many of your recent reviews.

Work for 6 months then doesn't turns on anymore
10 October 2024

We bought this on December 2023 from best buy. For 6 months we enjoyed everything about the TV until last July it started to have problems. The TV will suddenly shutdown and we had to manually restart it. Eventually, the time it would restart became longer until it stopped, hearing mostly clicking sounds from the one connect box. After a month without TV, we decided to call Samsung multiple times for support. It took them awhile to get someone from a third party subcontract authorized to look at the TV. It is now October 10, 2024, finally someone came to see the TV. They eventually said that the panel itself has the problem and they needed to order a part for the panel. Their estimated time will be a week to "God knows when"? They said someone from Samsung will ... MoreWe bought this on December 2023 from best buy. Their estimated time will be a week to "God knows when"? They said someone from Samsung will contact us for more information and updates. So help us God!We have had other samsung tvs before, my oldest one is like 20+ years old and still working better than this model. So far, this is our greatest disappointment amongst our Tvs. I never had to call samsung for anything but this experience with their customers service left a sour taste for Samsung overall. I've read some blogs or post from other dissatisfied customers for this specific model while searching for a remedy for the problem and came to realized that it has been an ongoing problem. For the price of the TV, customer satisfaction should be the goal of Samsung to maintain their loyal customers. Customer Support should be more helpful rather than giving more anxiety and headaches to customers. I do hope that SOMEONE In upper management would read this and escalate this matter and fix the problem.

[Rewarded Review] Samsung QN800B 8K Smart TV with Quantum LED & Mini
25 September 2023

Stunning Visuals: The most immediate and undeniable feature of the QN800B is its breathtaking 8K resolution. But it's not just about the pixels; it's about how they're rendered. The Quantum LED technology ensures that colors are vibrant and true-to-life, with blacks that are deep and inky and whites that are pure and luminous. Every image pops with an intensity and clarity that makes you feel as if you're looking through a window, rather than at a screen.Mini LED Brilliance: Samsung's integration of Mini LED technology is a game-changer. Its intuitive interface, compatibility with a plethora of streaming services, and seamless integration with smart home systems make it not just a TV, but the centerpiece of any modern living space.Sound: While the visuals often steal the spotlight, the auditory experience is immersive with the QN800B's built-in speakers delivering clear, room-filling sound. However, it's worth noting that the built-in subwoofers can occasionally sound staticky, which can detract from an otherwise stellar audio experience. It's a minor quibble, but one that audiophiles might pick up on.Final Thoughts: The Samsung QN800B 8K Smart TV is a testament to how far television technology has come. It's a blend of art and engineering, offering an unparalleled viewing experience that's enhanced by its smart capabilities. For those who seek the pinnacle of home entertainment, look no further. This TV doesn't just display content; it transforms it into an experience.
