Got the battery as a bonus for buying the freestyle projector, failed to charge out of the box using the recommended charger that came with the projector.Contacted Samsung was advised to take battery to Video Factory for repair on arrival they checked battery and advised DOA, they ordered replacement and what I received is a seconds reconditioned battery dead flat out of box, now on charge hopefully this battery will charge up.Certainly put me off buying any other Samsung products if they give you 2nd hand replacements

Great projector for the price. Plenty of features and built in apps like Apple and Netflix etc. does a good job despite the price but don’t expect a super picture in areas that are well lit. Needs a dim environment. But great in low light.

I bought the Freestyle Projector, and during the time I bought it, Samsung were running a gift redemption offer where they would give a free Freestyle Battery Base. Anyway 3 months later the battery completely dies, and the warranty experience has been horrendous. Samsung say that its cover under warranty, but their support centers are repairing of replacing it, because I didn't actual buy the thing and can't prove that I purchased it. It has been an horrendous and the battery remains unfixed.

There's also no warning when the battery is about to run out of power, it simply shuts down, as does the projector along with it.Like others, my battery came as part of a deal with the Freestyle projector. The battery needs to be tested before it can be replaced. I live in Brisbane, and I've got a choice of two service centres to take the battery for testing, one is sixty kilometres from where I live, the other is 100 kilometres from where I live. But this is not the battery's fault, the battery is fine when it works.
