I bought this after being seriously disappointed with read and write speeds on virtually everything else. I tended to opt for a cheap high volume alternative with sticks and cards but these days I do a fair amount of exchanging project footage/audio in one go onto someone else's laptop or system. And it's embarrassing when it starts reasonably fast then slows to 2mb/s and you may as well put the kettle on. All that changed with this beauty. Considering I'm using a 6 year Thinkpad, I never thought I'd see speeds in excess of 300mb/s on data transfer. Without even using the USB3 ports on the docking station. The next stick I buy will probably be the 256GB one. Couldn't recommend it more highly

Works well. Much faster and cooler than I expected. I use quite a few usb drives and this one is blazing fast. It also did not get hot when I copied 15Gb of video from my camera - other ones would be scorching.Very happy with the purchase.

I'm using a WD_BLACK 1TB SN850 along with the Extreme Pro 128 on a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port (current fastest Type-A, however it's being relabled). I used an 8.29 GB movie to give you an idea of the time it takes. Transferring from the flash drive to my PC took 19 seconds. Transferring from my PC to the flash drive took 47 seconds. I did both tests a few times and the numbers were the same. I generally got around 320 MB/s transferring to the PC and transfers to the flash drive started off around 330 MB/s but slowed to ~160 MB/s after 30%. The drive does have smaller space than listed (123 GB of free capacity, with mine being set to 115 GB). That doesn't matter much to me, but I know it does to others.
Thank you for discontinuing support for a product before I was even able to buy it. I am speaking specifically about the SDCZ880-1T00-G46 encryption software. This really speaks to your lack of support and care of customers. I will not be purchasing another item from you personally or professionally. PureStorage it is!
got this as things were getting too slow with the old sticks. Haven't had any issues with speed even though its 70% full now. Many sticks slow down after filling them up but this ones good. Read a few reviews and for the money took this stick, even though there are faster ones but cost more. Tested it on Crystalmark and numbers are genuine enough. For some reason they renamed it 3.2 maybe for compatibility but it's still 3.1 like the previous model. Anyways if you need speed this does well at it.
