So far the cheapest 500 SSD 3D, with free sandisk keychain. My 8years Rig max speed up to 441MB/s read and 423MB/s write, PC SPECS: i7 2600k, 16gb DDR3 1333mhz RAM 2010 intel board model pcie 2.0 only. I guess if you have latest unit you can reach from 500 to 560. So far so good I've manage to Clone my System Disk Partition Only. using AOMEI partition clone and system backup. Restoring the System backup on bootable usb of AOMEI Utility created it well fixed none bootable issue. then update to windows10. so far pc so fast, no waiting or lag. 400x speed than old HDD. I give it 4 coz Ive expected around 500 speed.

AWESOME for those who work on the road!!!

I've had mine for about 10 months now and LOVE mine! I'm a "Digital Nomad" if you will, meaning I work remote permanently, so I'm constantly on the road. This has traveled with me all over the US and internationally, I can't express enough how awesome it is to have this with me. I've worked at airports, airbnbs, restaurants and it works great! Fast and easy play and play. Didnt need to download anything. Its not heavy and fairly thin. The picture has been great for me! I've watched movies, played games and pretty much anything work related on it and it has performed great and looks great! I get complemented on it a lot. I've gotten so much more work done having this with me! Great product! Highly recommend!

Instead of deducting 2 eggs here, I can only deduct one so far due to it's underperformance via SATA II. After a lot of testing, it seems to write faster than it reads. Did not regret with this purchase
9 October 2022

Had this 13" Duex plus monitor at the back of my laptop for several months, want to say that the convenience that it gives me is the key. Paired with my lenovo ideapad, fits perfectly at the back of the laptop. when I am away from my office but need an additional screen, this thing just slides right out and is ready to be used. Even it doesn't have super high brightness, the 300nits is good enough for me. Color is okay, did not really expect too much from that as I don't have any graphic design needs. For me, the sharpness of the text is more important as that is what I do all day. Can't really tell much difference with this additional 1.3lb added to the laptop. Overall, I love using it.

Excellent Product to Replace an Older SSD
5 January 2021

Excellent Product to Replace an Older SSD with less capacity. Although aware that Windows10 fits quite comfortably on a 240GB, after much cost deliberation took the plunge to replace an 240GB SSD Sandisk Plus with the 1TB SSD Sandisk Ultra. The older drive was home for only the Windows/10 OS. The upgrade allowed keeping the OS, and all essential data, photos, music and videos on the same drive, each category in its own partition. Other non-essential and large files (think movies) remain on HDD. As I do some photo-editing and video-editing, it is pleasing to know that all load much quicker now. Oh, I stuck the old SSD in an old Netbook so there was also a gain in speed there. Glad that I made the decision to upgrade.

Great drive, particularly for the price.

Installed this drive in an older i5 4670K system that is still plenty fast enough for most tasks even today. And if you have older hardware, this drive is a great combination of price/performance. Highly recommended.

Review of SANDISK Ultra 3D 2.5" Internal SSD - 1 TB

Good Points: This is the second time I have replaced the Hard Drive in my laptops with a SSD 1TB hard drive. I am very impressed that this increases the speed of my two laptops and certainly they both now start up and down load emails within a few minutes where previously with even my HP I7 it could take me at least ten minutes to switch on and download the first few emails. Very pleased with both laptops an I5 and the I7.Improvement Points: The two SSD drives are excellent. I was quite a task moving all my software programmes and data across to the new drives. I purchased a caddy case and installed the old drive in that and used it as an external drive so I could copy everything across. SanDisk Ultra 1T SATA SSD

I would recommend this SanDisk SATA SSD to anyone. I installed a 480GB SanDisk Extreme Pro in my daughter's laptop (cloned it from existing HHD) back in 2015 and she has had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Made her laptop several times faster to use while saving on battery. I purchased this 1T SanDisk Ultra to replace my existing 1T HDD in my computer. I run an i7-8700K desktop with GTX 1080 Ti GPU that boots from a Samsung 960 Pro M.2 512GB NVMe SSD but it still uses a 1T WD HDD for extra storage. I need the HDD to install in my old (first gen i7) computer to give my granddaughter to allow her more storage beyond the 256GB SSD boot drive in it. So, rather than buy another hard drive as I had been planning and because SSD prices have dropped so much, it made more ... MoreI would recommend this SanDisk SATA SSD to anyone. Anyway, SanDisk is a good brand that offered speeds as fast as the most popular brands and at a better price. Also, their warranty is for the same period - 5 years.

These Sandisk ultras are my go-to drives for clients due to their historically reliable performance. When it comes to SSDs, speed really isn't my concern even though these do run pretty fast for a sata drive. What I care about is the long warranty and good TBW rating. This is also one of the last models that still has DRAM and uses TLC tech (if they haven't changed it without telling anyone) so it should theoretically have lower failure rates than something with MLC/QLC. Price has been fluctuating but at the moment still pretty decent price per gig.
