Satechi Slim W1 Wired USB-C Backlit Keyboard (Space Grey)

Great product, well made and feels solid. The keys have a good feel to them with a bit more resistance than an apple keyboard but really good. I got this wired keyboard as my apple bluetooth keyboard was using up batteries fast with my mac mini m1. Being wired I no longer have to worry about batteries and the backlight on the keys is great to. All round very happy with the purchase.

It’s a backlit QWERTY keyboard very similar to what you would find on a MacBook Pro. Functionality has been A1. So far so good (Using with a Mac Mini)

Great keyboard for a Mac device

A well built and very functional keyboard for a Mac device. A bit on the expensive side, but guaranteed to work with an iPad pro and Mac mini.

I think it's an Apple thing

Love the keyboard. The only thing is that I need to hold the fn key in order to use the function keyes, but i don't need to do that on the keyboard of my macbook pro. Otherwise, it arrived well-packed and is working like a champ. Thanks!

Perfect keyboard

This keyboard resembles the macbook pro keyboard which makes it easy to switch back and forth. It really is the only keyboard out there that I found matched like this. The keyboard just works. I absolutely love it.

Quality Mac keyboard

Quality at a great price. Nice to have a wired keyboard with a small footprint. Slightly angled forward and comes with rubber feet pads to make the angle even greater. Has a backlit feature too. Much better than the higher priced brands.

For the past 7 years I've used a Macbook Pro every day and, while I still love it, all that hunching over was causing back problems. So I added a Mac Mini to the lineup a week ago and chose this keyboard to go with it because it looked like a suitable replacement at a reasonable price.So far the transition has been almost seamless. The keys have a nice feel, and the size and layout are very familiar. (My back loves the BenQ 24" display, too.)What would make this a 5-star setup for me? Well... I really miss having a touchpad but don't want to clutter up the desk with another separate item. Satechi, please consider selling a minimalist tray for the keyboard that includes a small touchpad. Slim W1 Wired Backlit Keyboard

I bought a Satechi Compact Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard a while ago, and it is hooked up to my gaming PC and a Satechi wireless mouse. I loved that combination so much that I decided to buy the Slim W1 Wired Backlit Keyboard on my Rasberry Pis. Very sturdy, and it works like magic, highly recommended.

Solved my M1 Apple bluetooth issues

I've used this for just 2 weeks, but it's the perfect replacement for my Apple wireless keyboard. It's virtually identical except it lies flatter on my desk since it obviously doesn't have the battery compartment (they did include optional sticky rubber pads to tilt the keyboard forward). I replaced my old wireless keyboard since I bought the new 2020 M1 Mac Mini and immediately had the bluetooth issues others have complained about. Weirdly enough, I could solve my keyboard issue by turning my Apple mouse off and on, but it got annoying. Right now, this wired keyboard is perfect, buttons all work as they should, choices of backlighting or not, controls sound levels as well as all the other functions I'm accustomed to using. very nice in our entertainment stack

I like a keyboard with glowing keys for use in our entertainment stack, because you can see the keys when typing in the name of a move in a dark room. I also prefer a wired keyboard, so I don't have to deal with charging. Historically that combination has been very limiting, mostly to PC keyboards, which work, but the keys are marked incorrectly. The Satechi has the right keys, and the glow, and it's small and metal, which looks nice with the stereo equipment. I'd recommend it to anybody with similar needs.
