Sauvage Eau De Parfum Spray by Christian Dior - 60 ml

I have to admit that I’m a harsh critic of the whole Dior Sauvage line, but I always try to give fragrances their due credit. The bergamot and pepper opening has a sharp but well balanced fresh spiciness. Heading into the middle notes, lavender and geranium create a calming effect for that strong opening while Sichuan and pink pepper, along with vetiver, patchouli, and elemi maintain this fresh, citrusy and more aromatic vibe. The base consists of the ever famous ambroxan note, as well as cedar, and labdanum which all together bring in a bit of a musky woodiness that actually warms up the scent. Sauvage Parfum is an oriental fusion fragrance. I used to use Bleu de Chanel by Chanel, which I liked a lot. Sauvage Parfum reminds me a lot of it and, like it, meets my requirements for men's office perfume. My requirements are quite simple and logical: the perfume has to be balanced and expensive in order to underline my status and create a good impression among my business partners. It should also underline my personality and be appropriate to my age. But, most importantly, the fragrance should be persistent, but not too much of a trail, so as not to put pressure on those around me. Sauvage Parfum description: Popular French brand Christian Dior created the unrivaled Sauvage 2015 fragrance for men in 2015. Its wild and rebellious character jumps out from the first acquaintance, unleashing bursts of energy and euphoria. The unique combination of ingredients allows the perfume to blaze with passion and perseverance, creating a unique and indestructible image of a conqueror. The combination of different varieties of peppers combined with floral and citrus notes conveys an unwavering state of freshness and the bubbling power of nature in the surrounding atmosphere. Perfectly selected ingredients unleash an explosive wave of noble dignity and passion. The author of the fragrance Francois Demachy combined the components of spices and aromatic chords so that others get the impression of an unrestrained temper of a strong and courageous man. And the stylish Sauvage 2015 bottle, with its shimmering colors from transparent to pitch-black, emphasizes the strong-willed nature of the fragrance. Hide Quote Top notes: Calabrian bergamot and Pepper Middle notes: Sichuan pepper, Lavender, Pink pepper, Vetiver, Patchouli, Geranium and Elemi Base notes: Ambroxan, Cedar and Labdanum. My impressions: Sauvage Parfum's fragrance is really luxurious, purely masculine, solid, not overpowering. I can feel the ambergris, citrus, a little spice and wood. Freshness seemed to me a little, more like warmth. Therefore, I can't imagine wearing it in the hot summer, but in cooler times Sauvage Parfum will be very appropriate. I read in one of the descriptions that Sauvage Parfum fragrance is suitable for everyone and for all occasions. I strongly disagree. I don't think it will suit young boys, nor will it fit under a tracksuit or sneakers. But for an adult, self-sufficient man, it's the right one. Back to the gift idea. The bottle with Sauvage Parfum is made of blue-black glass, transparent underneath and tinted on top. There is a Christian Dior logo on the bottom of the bottle. The Christian Dior logo is also on the magnetic cap, which closes the bottle of Sauvage Parfum, and on the atomizer. The bottle looks stylish and expensive. The packaging of Sauvage Parfum is a box of expensive cardboard, quite laconic in design. There is nothing superfluous. Everything is simple, stylish and expensive. I think that as a gift for a man Sauvage Parfum will be an excellent option, which, if necessary, can be strengthened by some other products from the Sauvage line.

If you think blue/fresh fragrance, this isn’t going to fit into that very limited box. Instead you’re getting a dynamic cologne, that has a lot of notes, and changes throughout the day or night. Opening is eye opening. It’s an ambroxan bomb, with primarily grapefruit, patchouli, nutmeg, vetiver, cinnamon, and licorice. The last one is where it leads to, along with some wood and hints of vanilla mixed in. It’s a modern masterpiece. Rarely will I use that, but this is truly a three or four dimensional cologne, that is excellent for a number of occasions. This versatility makes it even more redeeming. As covid raged around the world in 2021, this has to be the best release designer or niche fragrance. The complexity alone is worthy of this accolade. Dior has some guts to produce this, as the Sauvage line was already popular. Yet this flanker wins. It’s the best Dior you’ll find, and worth the extra money you’ll have to put down. The bottle itself is very luxurious, and fits easily in one’s hands. The magnetic cap is a great touch, and the atomizer streams generously. Just please remember, one or two sprays maximum. Optimal use is for date night. The lady with you, will not be able to pretend this sultry scent isn’t there. This one is a compliment magnet. My recommendation is dress up in at least a semi formal shirt and slacks. If so emboldened, a suit and tie with this, you’ll be on your A game. Projection is 2 feet for up to 12 hours. The scent trail is remarkable. I love how the scents evolve and change from the opening, as this one stands out in so many positive ways. Buy this as you’ll love this alpha yet refined scent, and expect women to flock the area you are in, as this one screams mature sophisticated male.

I bought one of the Sauvage Elixer cologne bottles from Dior and sent them a message on the receipt thanking them for not canceling him before his day in court like almost everyone else did. They earned my respect and their money for the sale in the same day. The cologne bottle is really nice compared to other bottles. It's like the spray is pressurized so it comes out in a perfect spritz. The scent is very long lasting, and you can smell it on you for the whole day. It's a very, deep and spicy scent. It literally smells like the word definition of refined man. The cap is magnetized so it snaps back into place even if you put it on crooked. All in all, this is one high quality bottle. Maybe it's scripted. I don't know. All I do know is, the experience made me feel like I was buying high class and getting a concierge service to go with it. The box it came in was the quality of a new iPhone 14 Max. The cellophane plastic protective covering around the box just made it feel like a high-quality unboxing. It's a little pricy but it was well worth it. I def got what I paid for. A genuinely great bottle of cologne and supporting Johnny Depp in one credit card swipe. Nothing says, I support this person/product more than putting your money where your mouth is.

Doesn't smell like Savauge, but that's good!

I stopped buying the normal Savauge after 2017, it's become so commonplace that it's no longer original. This however, this is different!I cleared out my entire living room after 3 sprays of Savauge Elixir and it projected enough to my friends could smell it in the next room for at least an hour. You get your money's worth with this perfume. I wouldn't recommend any more than 3 sprays for a night out and maybe don't leave the house for 30 minutes unless you're going to be outside (even then it's still strong)The scent calms down after about 90 minutes but still gets you around 3-5 feet of projection throughout the night. The first 90 minutes will get you around 8 feet of projection indoors. In terms of being a Savauge scent, you can tell it's higher end but it does NOT smell like Dior Savauge. That being said, it may be a bit of a miss among the younger crowds.With that being said, if you're looking for a replacement for Dior Savauge and want something that performs, projects, and lasts just as long (if not longer) GET THIS PERFUME!You wont find another scent that can make 2 sprays last throughout the night and into the next day!P.S.I'm actually serious, don't use more than 3 sprays!!
