Scanpan Impact 32cm Chef Pan

Been cooking with this for years now, it's an excellent pan. Being able to cook on the stovetop and in the oven makes it extremely versatile. Large size is good for cooking for groups as well.

The good - looks great, handles don't get too hot, lovely and big.The bad - despite cooking on low to medium heat and with oil, some things still can stick and can be difficult to clean. My daughter bought a different brand and this isn't a problem. I'm glad I got this on special.

Good size, Good looks

Great size pan for the larger family, where you can take from the stove to the table. The lid makes cooking quicker and gives you various options. The kids loved the chilli prawn pasta i made the other day and we will be trying different pasta sauces

Great family-sized pan

I'm thrilled with my purchase. It'a my first stainless steel pan, first Scanpan too. I like the two handles, make it easy and safe to carry around when hot. I've read the other comments before buying it, and if you follow the manual/rules, it's easy to use and cook with. I never had any food sticky at the bottom so far. If you have troubles for cleaning, simply use salt OR bicarbonate soda and vinegar, it will be like new.

Great pan

Absolutely great pan! Wouldn’t ever go back to using a Teflon or non-stick pan ever again. Stainless steel is the way to go. Myer also delivered promptly to my regional location.

I bought this online from kitchenwarehouse, based on the reviews and images, and description, including visiting the Scanpan website and heaps of research. There are no negatives. This is a large item, 32 cms is huge. It looks stunning and the quality is impressive. It is almost a piece of art. I have two other fry pans of very high quality, not Scanpan. I bought this because I wanted to simulate wok cooking. I am a vegetarian and with this I can cook different vegies in different parts of the pan, and regulate the cooking temperature by moving such away from the center. This is also oven safe to 260 oC, and I wanted something to cook like a casserole in the oven. I do have a casserole dish 1.2 litre, which looks awesome, but that is really on the small side. I think this Chef Pan is exactly that, a top of the range large and versatile pan ... with a glass lid. The IMPACT range of Scanpan is just right between price and functionality. The more expensive range for example, have a lower heat rating for the oven, like 200 oC. I prefer IMPACT as it is tough and does a proper job. Scanpan is now my go to kitchen brand, and I normally really dislike brands. I have bought other Scanpan items too.

One of the best on the market.

This pan is one of the most durable (apart from my cast iron pot) pans I have ever owned. The heavy base makes it perfect for induction cooking; quick, even cooking all over. Contrary to belief, food does not stick once consistent high temperature is reached.I have also taken this straight from the cooktop into the oven with no issue. I love Scanpan. One of the best brands out there for kitchen tools. The size of this pan is wonderful for preparing food for a family and the lid is an added bonus to keep food warm after cooktop is switched off. This pan will outlast me! Money well spent. If you’re a foodie, you’ll love this one. I definitely recommend.

ScanPan Chef’s Pan

Exceptional quality including the handles and the thick glass lid. Good for slow cooking and meals you can make using only one pan. Like a stretched out saucepan but with more room and better control. I got the big one. Very nice to have this in my kitchen.

Scanpan winner.

Very nice pan, large, solid and cooks well. Allows you to cook larger meals with ease. Love the glass see through lid also that allows you to see the cooking progress without having to take lid off. Recommend.

Top choice

Love the clean shiny look and most importantly it is non stick. I took time to read the “ 1st use instructions “ to seal the base and all has worked well with each use. The glass lid is handy too and this style with handles seems more functional compared to a same sized frypan.
