Scanpan Impact Milk Pan, 14 cm

Thank you Peter's of Kensington for this well priced and great pan. Line markings show 500ml and 1L increments, double pouring spouts allow for left or right handed use and a relatively level rim mean that I can use a small universal lid to prevent moisture loss and speed cooking time.

The standout feature of this pot is the non-drip spout. I can pour directly from the pot into a small teacup and leave nary a splash nor a drip on the benchtop. The other wonderfully useful feature is the cup measurements on the inner wall of the pot. I use this pot primarily for making chai. Now I have this pot, I always make the exact amount required and each brew is of uniform quality.

Perfect functionality and quality. I require a good saucepan to warm milk when making hot chocolate. The lip allows me to pour without spilling, and the engraved measurements on the inside help ensure I only pour the milk I need. A great value product in my book.

A kitchen essentil

Now THIS is a very nice classy-looking milk heating and pouring saucepan. I don't know why it has taken me so long to have one in my kitchen! It heats milk fast over a low flame and pours smoothly from the pan. It's a real bonus, and probably it could be used for custards and gravies but mine is exclusively for heating milk!

Awful

Awful. Looked great straight out of the box but quickly became discoloured and coated with brown residue. The only way to clean it is to use vinegar and a lot of elbow grease. My first and last Scanpan purchase.

Love this Saucepan

Thrilled with this little saucepan - love that it has two poring points, the quality is great as well. I use this gem more than I thought I would it's not just for heating milk, I seem to use it constantly. The handle does stay cool which is a great. Made me think perhaps I would replace all my pots and pans with Scanpan.

Okay-ish milkpan

Don't get me wrong - it is a fantastic product for numerous reasons! Material quality is great, pouring lips are amazing, design is very nice, cooking surface compatibility is what you would expect from it. What else would you want from it?.. well... build quality. I used to know Scanpan as outstanding manufacturer that makes stylish, durable and reliable cookware, but not nowadays.Bottom multi-surface plate is sitting nice and flush on one side of the pan, while it was bulging on the other and they just sanded it to even things out, and as a result it looks quite terrible. Now, I agree that it is not affecting performance of the pan, hence 4 stars, but it shows lack of attention to the details from manufacturer and absence on unreliability of their quality ... MoreDon't get me wrong - it is a fantastic product for numerous reasons! Stylist, practical but most of Quality PLUS !

Love, love, love this milk pan !!! As always Scanpan delivers with quality and style! I love the lip on both sides, so handy. I only use Scanpan in the kitchen as I’m yet to find better quality. This gets used daily when I make my super healthy ceremonial Cocoa drink, such a joy to use .

scanpan quality

Scanpan brand so well known. Seems every cooking show I watch uses scanpans. I sent this to my 90yr young Mum. She is thrilled with her shiny new saucepan. Exactly the size Mum wanted and as I live in different state,I haven't seen this item. However, I have placed another order for myself as will finish of my scanpan needs. I recently went induction so had to replace everything. This brand will last well and just look great too.
