A great alternative to a small day sack, but one which is waterproof so no need for additional dry sacks inside. Packs down flat in my suitcase for when I travel abroad.

The dimensions for the 65 L are stated as 15 x 13.9 by 28.3 inches. This implies a total circumference of the opening of 58 inches. The actual opening is 40 inches in circumference, too small for my needs (duel ukulele case).Additionally, iβm not sure the material is suitable for white water rafting. Bags in this application are subject to a lot of abrasion, and this material seems to be less abrasion resistant than heavy pvc of the other bags I use.

Nice bag for multi day trips to keep you stuff dry. I prefer the duffle type dry bags to these roll type nowadays.

Bought 2 of these dry bags at a deep discount for a rafting trip. Having 2 smaller bags (vs. one larger) ended up being really convenient for packing/stowing. Not sure why the orange color was so discounted but the bags performed admirably, no leak issues.
Lighter and softer that the regular line of waterproof bags. We are bikepackers and bike tourers, using the same Big river dry bag in 8 liters for the fork cages of our bikes for many trips now and they have shown a very good resistance even exposed to environnement on the front face of the fork. Based on that we like to try the 65l of the same line as a bag to store all our panniers contents for flight check in and store it rolled on the rear bike rack during our cycle journey.
in love with this dry bag!!! It feels sturdy while still lightweight and folable. I love that I can attach to the front of my bike. The design looks great, since it's orange I'm not scared to forget it on a grey rocky beach.
The dry bag was really good, I ended up needing to buy another one but had little time to get one shipped that I picked up another sea to summit one from REI. I needed them both for a river trip and they held up really well, only got a little water in it once and it did end up getting really dirty on the outside. But they worked really well, looked super cool, and werenβt too bulky. Loved them! Iβd maybe consider getting the strap for my smaller one next time.
The service from Tom's Outdoor is awesome as it always is. Fast delivery of the bag, does exactly as it's designed which is to keep things dry.
Accidents happen when you least expect it - like capsizing in calm water trying to get into a kayak! I got this for a more dramatic use case - but hey, I'm glad I had it for a dumb accident as well! Everything stayed nice and dry.
Ordered the 65 l bag. We bought this for holding sleeping bags and pads to pack into a larger duffle during weeklong group cycling tours. Perfect for that as it is very large and very heavy duty. Much too large and heavy for backpacking use. Would also be good for kayak camping.

Sea To Summit Big River Dry Bag - Super strong and abrasion resistant, this non-PVC mid-weight dry bag has space saving low profile Hypalon lash loops on the sides for secure stacking and a roll-resistant oval shape. A great choice for rugged water sports like kayaking, canoeing and rafting. Suitable to keep contents dry in any wet situation where the bag is not submerged. TPU laminated fabric with 10,000 mm waterhead Super strong and abrasion resistant 420 D nylon fabric Waterproof, double stitched, reinforced, tape sealed seams Hypalon lash loops for secure attachment or stacking Waterproof Hypalon roll top closure does not wick moisture Space saving, low profile, streamlined shape Oval base resists rolling - stays where you put it Proper Use: Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can't get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be 'double bagged' (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered. Not intended for situations where dry sack will be submerged under water.
