Selsun Blue Antidandruff Shampoo Itchy Dry Scalp 11 fl oz (325 ml)

I bought this shampoo because I had tried both Pyrithione Zinc and Ketoconazole, and neither had completely fixed my dandruff/seborrheic dermatitis. After about 3-4 daily uses, I was practically dandruff free. It doesn't make my scalp dry or burn, although it does turn slightly pink in spots. The smell is fine but not exactly great. The shampoo is VERY thin and if you aren't careful, you will pour out way too much because it also lathers extremely well. I use half as much as I would most other shampoos and I still have more lather! I also have oily hair that requires daily washing or my hair is literally wet with oil, but with this shampoo, I can go two days before it starts to look oily, and even then it doesn't feel as dirty. As for reducing flakes from dandruff, he has seen some improvement, but the majority of the results he's had are from his psoriasis not flaking as much. Overall, he is enjoying using this, and the fact that it is free from dyes, parabens, silicone, phosphates phthalates is an added bonus. He is going to continue using it and would purchase again.

I Iike the smell of the shampoo which is a nice fresh scent and I like how well it lathered. I will buy this product again especially in the winter when my scalp becomes a bit dryer than usual. I have always struggled with dry scalp and bad dandruff so I was excited to give this a try. My scalp may be dry but my hair gets greasy fast so I need a shampoo that also acts as a good cleaner to get rid of that grease. This shampoo did the trick for both. After a few washes I noticed my scalp didn’t feel as itchy and my dandruff patches were slowly getting better. The scent on this shampoo is clean but whenever you wash your hair it doesn’t transfer which is good and bad. I personally love my hair to have a fruity smelling scent after I wash it and this doesn’t give you any type of smell. That’s the only reason I knocked it a point and because the texture is super runny. Other than those two cons the rest of the shampoo is pretty nice!

This shampoo really hit the target of my problem! My scalp! It can get really itchy, flaky and it is very sensitive. I’ve heard so many positive things about this shampoo so I was super happy to test it out. Since I have been using this I have noticed no itchy or dry scalp. It balanced out my hair right away with no more dandruff or build up. This shampoo does smell pleasant like fresh and cool which is nice and way better than a basic medicated scent. My hair doesn’t feel dried out especially with this heat and this works so fast leaving your head and hair feeling great.

selsun blue naturals smells amazing. Fragrance is so refreshing. It smells clean my scalp feels clean hydrated, not itchy not dry and it’s adding vitamins into my hair and improving it with every rinse. I really like this product. I’ve never purchased selsun blue before but it’s a very good product! And that fragrance oh my god I love it! Definitely worth the money and definitely makes a difference. My scalp feels clean and hydrated and not itchy especially if you go a couple days without washing. I like the lather in this product. It lathers really well just a little bit is all you need and it really catches your whole scalp and hair and feels so good It’s rejuvenating.

Works well for my itchy and flakey scalp. It helps reduce the oil production on my scalp. I use it daily, it seems to be gentle enough on my scalp to use daily. But since using it for about a month I can go every other day (if I want) and not have flakey and itchy scalp. And my hair seems less oily. I do use dry shampoo everyday, but I use less than before using this shampoo. My only concern is breakage. My hair is shiny and looks healthy but I think it’s causing breakage. So I started using a moisturizing and strengthening conditioner. That seems to help. I also have made my own salicylic acid/witch hazel/castor oil solution to apply to my scalp after shampoo and conditioner. I think this has also helped with my itchy and flakey scalp. this particular shampoo with the zinc is what works for me immediately. Every once in a while, especially during hot weather, I get a itchy scalp. Not dandruff, just itch. I have to stop everything else and use this and it immediately helps and calms it down. What I really like is it does not have a funky smell to it which some anti itch shampoos do, this does not. And surprisingly, it makes my hair look really shiny and healthy even without a conditioner. Plus when I have to calm the itch I use no other products on my head except this till it is gone. But I always look for this particular one that has that zinc because there is one other product they use in anti itch shampoos that does NOT work for me so once discovering this I stay with just this
