After having my HD 4.40BT’s for over 5 years now and only needing to replace the earcups, I thought I’d give these a while at half price. One of the best decisions I’ve made.The 458BT brings across all the things that made my 4.40BT’s great. However, I can tell you that I have certainly spent my share of hard earned dollars over a lifetime on all sorts of headsets and plugs, usually in the $100-$150 range. I was told about these from one of the excellent members of the staff at BestBuy after I had decided to get something decent for my home theater set up. As we walked towards the Magnolia section of the shop my heart began to sink knowing full well that I was gonna be giuded toward something that was amazing but wouldnt be able to justify the cost of. I was partially correct. From the literal first second I tried these on, I was blown away. No exaggeration at all the sound was so good its shocking. Synched up seamlessly to my LGC1 and provides full atmos and 7.1 support without any delays or lag. They also worked my XBOX Series X and although they do not include a mic these are an absolute game changer during Halo or COD. Comes with a nice little case and fold away for easy storage. The accompanying app allows you to fine tune your audio as needed and noise canceling works well although not the greatest. If there is one draw back its that they are quite tight around the head. I imagine this is part of the noise canceling capabilities. Overall I am still amazed just about every time I watch something like Dune or Shang Chi with these. Highly recommended.

I can't comment on sound quality because I never got to use them. The first time I tried to put them on the right earpiece fell off. I emailed Sennheiser and received a form response stating the I could ship them at my expense to their Connecticut office. They would determine in their unreviewable discretion whether the problem was their fault. If so, they would repair them and ship them back to me at my expense. In other words, I can spend a significant amount of money to ship a product I never used in the hope the company will deign to repair them and then pay again to get them back. This is the last Sennheiser product I will ever purchase.

The headphones connected to the TV fine via bluetooth and received audio okay (a bit of an echo), but the headphones would not receive audio from the computer (although they connected via bluetooth fine). Sennheiser customer support (no phone support; had to communicate via email) recommended trying to update the firmware for the bluetooth chip on the motherboard ... that was not going to happen for a variety of reasons. Purchased this Sennheiser - HD 458B just wanting a quality headphone. This brand was highly recommended by a friend, so I gave it a try. The headphone seem to fit a little loose on me but was fine as long as I wasn’t running or working out with them on. Other than that, they were comfortable and the padding around the ears were soft.I wasn’t impressed with the sound. Wish there was a little more base from from this set. The noise canceling isn’t so great either. Maybe I’m just spoiled from the noise canceling on my earbuds?If I planned to buy another set of Sennheiser’s, I might try and higher line. Still, for the price, not too bad of a deal.

The headphones are also fairly light. They're made of plastic but it feels like a sturdy type of plastic.All functionally is on the right ear. It may take some getting used to what the controls are.Battery life is great. I really only have to charge these like once a week and I use them quite often throughout the day off and on.These headphones collapse and come with a simple tough canvas carrying case. Nothing fancy, they don't really need anything more.Phone calls are a bit weird on these. That's one ear these aren't that great. They repeat your voice into your own ear which I don't really like. Also, the sound of your voice to the person you're talking to makes you sound a bit muffled, this is due to the microphone being back at your ear so it's not picking up your voice as well as it could if it was in front of you.Strongly recommend these headphones.
Bought this on a promotion for $70. It was used 2 times and one of the cushions came off. Had to glue it back. Now my OCD hates looking at the imperfections of the glue line.Sound quality is no better than cheaper headphones. Neither is battery life of comfort.I can't imagine how mad I'd be if I paid full price for these headphones. Best Buy should be embarrassed of carrying this.Do yourself a favor and look for an alternative. At this price point, there are many high quality options out there.

These have saved me from horrible flights, nosy relatives, and overstimulated anxiety attacks. I even wear them turned off on hangover and migraine days when I can't tolerate any noise, and they do an excellent job of dampening ambient sounds enough so that they don't hurt my head, but I can still hear them.While the headphones are bulky, they can be folded and I like the case that comes with them - makes it fairly easy to store and travel with.
