Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner

Not sure where ppl are getting their products from that say they have different ingredients/not the same. I personally purchase mines from Walgreens when on sale and I’ll buy 2 bottles at a time. I haven’t noticed any differences in results as I have been using this product for 3 years now. My hair absolutely LOVES it ! I use it as a detangler before wash day and as a leave-in along with their deep conditioner weekly. My hair is kept so moisturized for days! My hair feels super soft when i apply it and brushes tangles away so easily. The product is thick and creamy and i cant believe how long my hair has gotten while using this product. THIS is what im using 100% as my leave-in. I just did my first blow out and trim and oh my! Super long 3c/4a hair. This product helped me from the beginning when i first transitioned from relaxed hair and i continued to use the product and works every time.

I lucked out and got a bottle of the "old" (original) formula (moisturizing instead of reparative). The one where Shea Butter is actually the 3rd ingredient instead of the 20th. (This was before the suits decided to compromise an amazing product in hopes of reaching a wider market, instead of focusing on the supportive one they already had). This shampoo/conditioner was so amazing, such slip that I usually didn't even need to use the conditioner. But it is/was a rich, creamy consistency that you could feel hydrate thirsty dry strands, with such ease that a comb would glide thru without a single tangle. The richness(heavyness) fulfilled its promise. The new formula is alright, doesn't hold a candle to what it used to be, so I find myself adding melted shea butter and other oils to the current product to make a comparable one that you have to luck out to get. There are millions of products that are geared towards the average, this was one gem that outshines the others in a very particular yet lucrative market. Ill keep using this as a base and continue adding to it as a testament to what it used to be, what it could've grown into had the suits stayed the course. Either way, you can't go wrong with this stuff. (Unless you have very fine, thin hair, theres other stuff out there). If your hair needs some moisture, relief from coloring, heat styling, dried out, then use this for a month and notice the difference!

I ordered a very specific conditioner because I’ve had a hard time finding it. I wanted the one for damaged, transitioning hair. Specifically the restorative conditioner. Instead, I was sent the one that I keep returning, which is the one for curly and coily hair. It clearly says deep moisturizing on it. It is wrong in all ways. My hair could not be more straight, and also the smell is terrible for the curly version. Deep moisture and restorative are totally different smells and consistency! I wish that someone would have reached out to me to let me know that the other one was not in stock, even though it did say that it was in stock and is pictured here! I will not use the one that I was sent and am tired of returning it over and over.
