Wide link Shadow design Dyna-Sys 10-speed top normal Deore rear derailleur. Shadow Plus features a super low profile design that reduces the risk of damage from trail side hazards. Shadow Plus uses a chain stabilising switch that when on will reduce chain bounce in rough terrain. Direct Mount compatible Rear Derailleur system gives more space around the rear frame dropout resulting in easier rear wheel removal but also allows frame designers to shorten chain stays, increase axle sizes and move suspension pivots. Single tension spring prevents contact with the chainstay resulting in a silent ride. Direct cable routing prevents snagging from any trail side hazards. It is a great derailer. Just make sure you set it up properly before use. This is a replacement derailer for me.My first one ended up in the spokes and ripped in half. I bought a cheaper one to use temporarily and it does not work near as well. Unfortunately the shipping speed is extremely slow. It took a full week before my order was even shipped outSo I had to buy a replacement inferior one temporarily until I get the new one in.

Got to say this is better than my xt unit that didnt have the clutch and now the chain is silent unlike before
The SRAM12 Speed Groupset I had was unreliable when shifting and the Derailleur was quite bulky, frequently getting hit by rocks.Changed the groupset to Shimano 10 Speed and shifting now is crisp and precize. Installation was a brieze and the Derailleur is slimmer and less prone to flying rocks.Very happy
