A well-made reel for an excellent price. Perfect on a child's rod. nice to use, smooth casting and retrieval. The anti-reverse switch is a little fiddly. I routinely use this switch and prefer it to be more accessible. Thus only a four-star rating.

A lovely entry reel. I bought three of them all up for the grandkids. The shimano build quality means that if they look after them, the reels will last for years
Good old solid shimano reel. Basically identical to the renowned sienna reel but more budget friendly. Haven’t let me down one single time so far, so very thankful to the staff who recommended it.

Nice and smooth action. Very pleasing performance for a pleasant fishing outing. Tried it at my favourite fishing spot.

Unable to give a rating for these items, as haven't used them with all the rainfall yet.Fish are grazing in the fields at the moment.But this looks like a good reel for trout & hopefully as good as previous 1 I had the Shimano FX1000.
