At first I was disappointed because they updated it (previously was unscented white serum in a red bottle). However I’ve been using it for the past few months (just finished the bottle) and I’m not mad at it. My main complaint is the perfumed scent. It reminds me of one of the Escada perfumes- not something I want to put on my face. Other than that, it’s been good for my face. It’s seems to help with acne and moisture. I found it works best with the essence - otherwise it’s a little too light. I will be buying another bottle today, I just wish they did something about the scent.

I'm sure when you first see the price of the product you might think it's not worth it. But I would say think again. I have combination, sensitive, acne prone skin. I love using a serum to add more moisture, but have a hard time finding one that doesn't make my oilier areas more oily and acne prone, as well as duller. When I used it my face really took in the product and felt so much softer and "plump". I haven't seen any noticeable difference to my pore size, but I don't have large pores to begin with.This product is does not feel heavy on the skin at all, and I feel it could be used year-round on all skin types. It does not feel oily or greasy, leaves no residue, and doesn't make the skin look shiny OR matte. It just leaves the skin with a satin finish.One con I did notice is that there is a strange scent to the essence. It almost smells like sake, which makes me wonder if there is a fermented ingredient in it. This would be great for the skin, but not so great for the nose. The smell does dissipate quickly, but threw me offguard at first. The product is NOT scented, though, so no actual fragrance has been added, making it just fine for sensitive skin.Again, this is a splurge product, but I would buy this again, and would also try other products from this line based on the way my skin reacted to this one!
This product works. It is expensive, but worth it.I love SK-II, but even I have to acknowledge that their serums are pricey and don’t last long (unlike the rest of their products that are pricey but usually last for quite some time). As such, I have tried other brands to try to find a serum as good as this one at a cheaper price. Unfortunately, I have searched in vain. After a couple months of trying other serums I got this one again and the results were immediate. I could literally see the wrinkles on my forehead disappearing as the day went on. It is wild how effective this product is for plumping and softening wrinkles.If you like other SK-II products, you should definitely give this one a try.

this is definitely not a replacement to the old product. it's different and it's good. it took me a little while to get used to the texture, but once I did I was happy I stuck through with it. i have oily skin, and it's my perfect morning under make up serum. it plumps, smooths, and evens out the skin tone. it doesn't make the skin glow like the rna serum, but it's better in a different way.
