The Weber Summit Kamado is a life time grill. The low profile SNS really completes this grill/smoker.

Good, high quality construction but??

A very well built product but not necessarily all things to all people.I Like the heck out of it for reverse sear steaks but prefer the accessories that came with my Summit Kamado for low & slow smoking.

Great product. Good quality... but made in China

The Slow and Sear works great. Build quality is very good. I just wish that it was made in the USA not China. I prefer to keep jobs in America or at least not support China.

I haven’t used it yet!

I have the small charcoal basket, it works beyond my dreams. I don’t even worry about the low profile.

It warped

I own 4 other slow n sears so had to have this when I got the Summit Kamado. It didn't take long til the welds popped and the bottom warped. Now the grate will not sit over the top of the slow n sear. Looking at the new pictures on the website I see that they changed the design and are now using a riveted tab to hold the bottom. Obviously the welds popping were a problem. I am stuck with this one I guess. Very disappointed.

Low Profile

I recently bought the low profile SnS specifically for my Weber Summit Charcoal after looking for one for quite a while (Thank you for bringing it back!)I have only had the opportunity to use it twice as the weather hasn't cooperated and both uses have been for beef steaks. I reverse seared the steaks as I normally do and I was extremely impressed with the sear I was able to achieve with the SnS! Both times I had ribeyes with the beautiful sear and cooked perfectly medium rare (the only way to eat beef steaks in my opinion)!I'm looking forward to the weather breaking and using the SnS in other ways, but so far I've been impressed. If you are on the fence at all about buying one, I feel confident already in telling you to pull the trigger and buy one. Not what I expected

Although the idea of the SnS LP is great, to pay such a price for a product that warps is just unacceptable. Also, the sear zone is limited because the water reservoir is permanent. SnS LP should have made a comeback with deluxe features. Very disappointed in this product. So glad the weber summit kamado is a premium grill that doesn’t need this gadget.

Quality

I live in Ireland and usually get hit for additional taxes on anything from outside the EU. I was impressed that SnS were professional enough to handle the expiry including the taxes no no emails from the shippers demanding taxes and a hefty fee from them for handling the issue. Used the Slow n Sear last night and was very impressed. Perfect separation of zones. I’m impressed.

They just work

I have two of these, one for performer and one for summit charcoal E6. They work very well. Although I never have used the water option, there are plenty of people that do.
