A decent phone for the money, and a good price for a 5g handset. Perhaps a good phone for an older adult who is seeking something basic. Nearly all the phones in this price range are running on similar if not identical hardware, the G34 5G is on the better end of the specturm of these basic cheap handsets. As long as your expectations are realistic it punches above its weight. However the display resolution is a disapointment, perhaps its biggest let down,

It's replacing my Nokia 130 as secondary phone. Moto G34 is surprisingly quick, have great phone call quality.So-so camera but with great post processing features. For example. It stabilize if your not steady on your hand. Of course my iPhone 13 is better. Especially in low light, but it's not a fair comparison.Facebook app can be uninstalled. Which makes a clean Android 14. Alot of gesture. Shaking, taping, flipping phone activates camera, torch, take screenshot etc. For 990 SEK (five hour deal on Power live) it's nothing less than perfect for its value.

Bought 2 of these phones to replace my parents Android 10 phones and they are loving the speed and battery life of the phone.I only got two issues with phone, first is the lack of monthly security updates, phones are still December 2023 security patch (would have given 5 stars if they did security updates monthly). Second is the processing of photos and there no option to turn AI Processing off completely.Even tho screen like 720p resolution, I/we can not see any pixel's on text on the screen. For the price, this is a great phone.

Great value and all-round quality
14 October 2024

Bought to replace an older smartphone that cost about the same several years ago, so good value - and it comes with a charger, which some others don't.Does everything I need it to do, and I'm happy with its performance in all areas that I've used so far, including picture quality of camera and for video calls. Battery life seems really good, which is useful particularly when on the move.Data transfer (wi-fi) was straightforward following clear on-screen instructions.Only has one physical SIM slot (the previous phone had two, but I never used the second), but it does have provision for an e-SIM if necessary. So all-in-all, I'm very satisfied.

Great value phone
3 November 2024

I always purchase Motorola phones, as the performance per pound is excellent. The G34 5G does everything that I need and has 5G. The performance is quite good and the camera is certainly an improvement on the Moto G30 that I have used previously. The dual SIM number is a great feature, so apart from my contract SIM, now an eSim, I have a PAYG SIM on a different network, something Motorola has done for many years.Very pleased with my Purchase.

Great, cheap phone
23 June 2024

I'm not a heavy user, not a gamer, I just want to make calls, text, and surf the web. The screen, although just 720p is pefectly clear, and bright enough to use outside with no problems, even on bright days. I have used it outside several times and have not yet had to turn the brightness up to maximum. The call quality is good, certainly at my end. I have taken a few pictures and the quality seems to be quite reasonable, though to be honest I like using my camera, my phone just gets used for the odd snap, so this feature is not a priority for me. The finger print scanner works great and the battery lasts for ages. Very happy.

Moto G34 - Good phone, good value.
28 July 2024

I am a non gamer - phone used for browsing, spreadsheets, photo editing, podcasts, audiobooks and music. After two weeks use I am very pleased with the G34. This is my third Motorola.Fairly easy to set up. Very little bloatware, which can be easily uninstalled or disabled. Runs quickly and smoothly. 4GB ram is quite adequate (my average use is 62% of that), there is up to 4GB ram boost if needed. Charges from 20% to 100% in about two hours - remove phone from case when charging as it does get quite warm. I use headphones with a separate volume control and audio quality is good.Tip: If there is no sound from FM radio go to 'settings', 'security and privacy', 'privacy' and turn on microphone access.Using 5g makes downloading large files a lot faster than 4g but for ... MoreI am a non gamer - phone used for browsing, spreadsheets, photo editing, podcasts, audiobooks and music. Camera seems good indoors, outdoors I use a digital camera.I'm very happy with my purchase.

Motorola g34 5G PHONE
15 September 2024

This one is 5G connectivity, great price point for a base line 5G phone. Phone is awesome, hard to find the photos as these newer types rely on internet storing and sharing, so I downloaded things like Gallery app to make it easier to find. It has facial recognition, thumbprint, and annoying Google voice assist which I disabled as it interrupts rambling on, no thanks. (Using earphones seems to spark it off). Can add an SD card for even more internal storage separately but note the new ones coming out don't even have SD card slots as they move everything on to the web only connections, and don't have earphone slots either as they move to wireless ones. Had to buy extra phone cover and protector online elsewhere. Box comes with phone, and usb wall charger.

Ok in terms of a budget and backup device
12 October 2024

My second Moto phone, the first one being a Moto G84. Obviously, Moto G84 is more premium so the display, speed, and the overall feel is much better compared to G34. Charging is also slow as I think its 15W. I needed another phone for roaming during travels and also a backup. That way G34 is ok so far, but haven't had it for long and haven't used much. Also, its a bit heavier compared to the G84.

Unresponsive and slow
15 May 2024

Can't handle multiple apps open at the same time. Have bought Motorola Moto Gs exclusively as smartphones as they've always done what I've needed for a decent price. This is still a fair price, but after two months it's running at the same performance level as my old G30, which is three years old. It can't handle multiple apps being open at the same time, and opening the camera will frequently cause the whole phone to crash.
