Better than I thought

Initially it’s a very strong alcohol smell, that takes awhile to go. Not what I was expecting as it overwhelmed any sort of fragrance. You don’t get an immediate fragrance cloud from this. After 5 mins on my skin there is a cassis smell, with a woody base. Doesn’t smell like TF tobacco vanille, it isn’t as sweet. It does have a feeling of moist tobacco leaves though, maybe it’s the plum. This is a strange scent to be labelled a gourmand, I don’t get gourmand at all. Definitely the least sweet of the Brazilian Crush offerings. However this actually makes it the easiest to use as a base layer for most perfumes. Once it’s been on the skin for awhile it is a lovely vanilla, much less sweet than the other Cheriosa offerings.

Doesn’t last / skin scent

I love this fragrance but the projection is non existent and it just has no longevity. If you hold a previously drenched arm up to your face an hour after application you can smell it, but faintly. I also wanted to just say, because I read a review below and I wanted to help prevent disappointment, I own Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy. This is not a dupe for that fragrance. It’s lacking the baby powder and syrupy sweet feel of LDBS. I could see liking them because they are sweet florals but these are very different scents. 68 Beija Flor smells most like Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. If you like that fragrance you won’t be disappointed aside from the projection and lack of long wear. I have layered the two together and can’t really tell that it strengthened the total wear. Even with fragrance allergies!

I would describe this as very girly, fruity and floral, but not overpowering. Having been recently diagnosed with an allergy to fragrance I was skeptical about trying this but I am so glad I did! I love fruity, like actual fruit scents, and floral, but not overly floral. This is the perfect combination of fruity and floral yet still so light that it shouldn’t bother even those with strong allergies. You never get that chemical smell when you first spray it, and it’s not overpowering even if you spray it in an enclosed space like in the car. It does last for several hours but it is light so if you want it to go all day, you will need to carry at least the cream in your bag, which is also delightful by the way. I usually wear lemon scents when spending time outdoors so bees and mosquitos stay away but this one seemed to work and keep me safe (yes, I am allergic to bees and mosquitoes, too). To me this is springtime in a bottle, although I can see myself wearing it during all the seasons. It’s a very happy scent.

I absolutely love the scent because it smells very similar to Cloud and BR540. Unfortunately there’s a plethora of other options out there that I can get the same results cheaper. Long lasting mist

Wow this scent is divine. I actually blind bought it and it’s not on its way yet- I happened to stop by Sephora to give it a sniff out of eagerness as well as give all the others a good spray test. And I will say out of all the scents this profile has the most complexity in my opinion. I don’t see this as a fruity fragrance. It’s sweet yet musky so more of a deep scent- I get the vanilla, a woodsy note, and the sweetness from the plum- when it dried down i kind of got some dna from valentinos born in Roma which is one of my favorite scents. This is a rich creamy, floral, musky-vanilla that delivers.I sprayed it on my hand and could smell it two and a half hours later which I think is really fantastic for a body/hair mist. I absolutely LOVE the Brazilian Jasmin & Pink Grapefruit (68) spray mist! As soon as I use it, gives me a hit of dopamine. The spray smells fruity, which I love and perfectly pairs with one of my fruity fragrances. For my last purchase, I ordered 2 because I always want to have a bottle on hand, so going forward when I am down to 1 bottle, I will buy 2 more. What a unique and soft scent. Hard to pick a favorite because every scent is fantastic, only this one smells more unique.
