Sol De Janeiro - Rio Radiance Perfume Mist - 90ml

I have been a fan of Sol De Janeiro for a while now and when they came out with Rio Radiance, my heart literally skipped a beat. I'm a big beachy scent lover and they did what I could want and MORE. I was so happy when they made this into a permanent one with the number 87. I love tuberose and it is so beautiful in this perfume mist. It is a solar scent that combines clean white florals, creamy coconut milk and the warmth of sun on the sand. When they had it for limited edition, which was their summer scents, I made sure to stock up. I could wear this all year long, not just during the summer. It reminds me of sunny days, good times, a beautiful sunscreen on my skin and eating a coconut on a beautiful white sand beach. I know I will never go without it in my collection,if I can help it.

Beach-y scent for all!!

I've been searching for a scent that would take me back to the summer for MONTHS. I keep coming back to this perfume. Even though I was hesitant, I just decided to rip off the bandaid and try it. I was very pleasantly surprised. The scent was perfect for the beach (or just pretending you were at the beach). If you've ever had a sunscreen that you just fell in love with the scent of BUY IT!If you DON'T like that sunscreen beach vibe I wouldn't recommend it but it worked very nicely for me. The scent was also very strong once applied, and if you get sensitive to strong scents then I would buy another Sol De Janerio product like their deodorant (which provides a subtle smell).

Bethany Hamilton Perfume Dupe?!?!

This is my absolute FAVORITE Sol De Janeiro scent (and I have them all). If anyone remembers the Bethany Halmilton Stoked perfume that used to come in a surfboard bottle, this smells VERY similar to that but with a slightly more mature feel to it. When I first tried it out it was like nostalgia in a bottle, which I loved.The scent itself is amazing! It’s bright and very summery. It’s my go to scent for summer, vacations, pool days, etc. And every time I wear it someone asks me what I’m wearing, so you know it’s good!The one downside is it can wear off rather quickly. However, I generally throw a mini bottle in my bag and will add a spray here or there as needed.

Mesmerizing

The best one. This fragrance smells of a clean and bright sunscreen and fades into a sweet floral. I typically am not a fan of tuberose because it gives me a headache.. but this fragrance somehow takes the tuberose sweetness and balances it with the sand and amber note. Some people have said this is similar to soleil blanc or alien goddess, but they are different to my nose, I would say they are in a similar family. If you like the sweetness in alien goddess, you will like this. It’s very long lasting, I sprayed this yesterday and has somehow taken over my room today. It’s intoxicating

Perfect Beachy Body Mist!

So, I’m an absolutely huge fan of beachy smelling fragrances… basically I want to smell like a walking tropical beach vacation! To give you an idea of what I like, My top 3 favorites are Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Replica Beach Walk, and Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus. With that being said I think that this fits with those 3 so perfectly! I also have the Body Mists and lotions in 62 and 39, but I think this may be my favorite! I really love the softer Solar florals in this as well as the coconut! The 62 and 39 feel more beachy gourmand to me, while this new Rio Radiance feels more like the beach vibe that I tend to really love! It’s got a little bit of that sunscreen smell to it without actually smelling like sunscreen if that makes sense! I only bought the 8.1oz Body Mist, but now I’d love to also get the body lotion and shower gel too! I usually use B&BW Coco Paradise, Oahu Coconut Sunset, or At the Beach during the summer, but this one is just too good to not have in bath and body care as well! Definitely something I hope they keep available in the whole line, and I’m positive that I’ll be back for more!

Really pretty, beachy summer scent

I think this is a really nice summer “beachy” type scent. I definitely get a bit of that coconut and sand accord but the main notes I get in here are a beautiful tuberose and ylang ylang. It definitely comes off a bit sunscreen/tanning oil esque but I love those types of scents. I wore this to the beach a couple of weeks ago and I smelled IMMACULATE. It also lasts a pretty good amount of time for a body mist, about 5 hours. The only gripe I have with it is that I really don’t see myself wearing this scent in any season other than summer…Because the scent leans a bit sunscreeny and naturally layers with scented sunscreens I really think it’s more suited to the summer. The scent is beautiful and I love it but I personally wouldn’t wear it in fall or winter or even spring.

Sickly white floral

I tried it in store before buying, walked around for like 20 minutes waiting for the scent to develop, and finally decided to purchase it. I could smell the beach notes (coconut, sunscreen, and some of the white floral) and I liked it. I love coconut scents that remind me of suntanning at the beach, and I also love fresh white florals. However, after about an hour, maybe less, the coconut was totally lost and it became an extremely sickly white floral that made me very nauseous! Now, every time I look at the bottle, I feel like puking. It's unfortunate, honestly. I will be returning this product. Smells AMAZING, my everyday smell 🥰

This is the only Sol De Janeiro spray that I like, the other ones smell terrible to me 😔 and I wasn't even a fan of coconut scents till now!I bought the travel size a few weeks ago, it's half empty already 😅 im gonna get the full size before I run out then keep the travel size in my backpack.I love it, reminds me of summer, I wear it everyday, I spray it on my hair and clothes, along with Good Girl by Carolina Herrera (I have the travel size roll bottle) that I roll on my wrists and the sides of my neck. They go perfect together because they have a few of the same scent notes.ps. the aveen baby shea and coconut smell similar to this, used all together to smell AMAZING!

Summer in a bottle!

This is a floral, slight fruity scent. It reminds me of a perfume I have used in the past (a much more expensive perfume). This is such a beautiful scent. It's floral, but also beachy and a hint of coconut - not too strong. Rio Radiance is a fantastic summer fragrance. The smell is so amazing that it's like a fresh beach scent while also smelling classy at the same time. Sol de Janiero parfume mists are hard to resist because of their very reasonable price and very high quality. They are very unique, something that fullfill this niche market and their are much stronger than usuall body sprays. My teenage daughter is obsessed with this fragrance as well. heat makes this fragrance shine!

It’s extremely floral on the front end. I love ylang ylang but it combined with solar tuberose smells a little out of balance when first applying. It has a heaviness to it- in terms of smelling like a bouquet of white flowers on a summer day. The white flowers are screaming earthy and floral. I think linen or more vanilla would be nice to calm down that extremely earthy floral smell upon first spraying it. After the dry down though! smells so creamy and positive- like summer beach romance in a bottle. Sort of intoxicating after the dry down. Altogether, it smells like a ylang ylang flower bomb when first applied, (very similar to an extremely floral perfume that the elderly ladies at church would wear) then a creamy summer romance after the dry down.
