I am just getting into running, and my old Facebook marketplace pro form finally hit the dust. I began the search:I wanted a very high quality treadmill, without spending 3-6k on a commercial model. I also wasn’t wild about the on board infotainment systems on a lot of the residential models. I use my iPad with Apple fitness+ and take it with me when I travel for work, so I have no use for proprietary software on a treadmill.I settled on this model, was able to go directly to a store and found a helpful staff. They were able to help me get a huge reward by signing up for the credit card, which I payed off immediately with no penalty.Assembly was relatively easy, though I do have a lot of experience in fabrication and other trades. I have run about 30 miles on the treadmill so far and I’m quite happy with it. I’m not a graceful runner, yet the machine is very quiet and smooth. I can run all out with my wife and kids sleeping, no issues. I find myself making excuses to get an extra run or walk in just because I enjoy using the machine so much!

I was looking for a basic treadmill to jog on several times a week, with my biggest concern being sturdiness - nothing is more annoying then a treadmill that shakes or wobbles when you run! I went into my local store so that I could stand on them and see the sturdiness for myself. I went in thinking I was going to like the NordicTrack, but was surprised to find that the Sole models were much sturdier! The associate told me this is one of their top sellers. I’ve been running on it for a few weeks now and it has been absolutely perfect for me - nice and sturdy and all the features I need. I like the “jump off” platforms on the sides, and the speed and incline adjustments on the side handlebars. It has plenty of storage for water, phone, etc., and I also like the ... One downside is that the quick start buttons don’t include all speeds (i.e., there is 3, 5, 7 etc) but I find it works well for me since I usually start at a walk and then increase to a jog after a few minutes - I just start at 3 and use the side handle buttons to adjust up from there when I’m ready. If you want more high tech/iFit workouts etc this isn’t the one for you, but I personally just like to just get on and jog and watch tv or listen to music, and didn’t want to pay a subscription. In addition to the heart rate handles it also comes with a heart rate chest band. You can also connect to a free app to track your workouts, including outdoor workouts. I haven’t done that yet so can’t comment on the app, but it seems like a nice option to have. The fan isn’t the best but really no treadmill fans are - just use a real fan if you need one. If you’re looking for a good basic sturdy treadmill, I highly recommend this one!

First of all (when it works) this is a great product the platform is very springy and easy on the knees and it has a feel very similar to what you would expect at a professional gym. Unfortunately for me after several months of use I got a E5 error when starting which according to Sole: "With the E5 error, it is a communication error between the console and the circuit board that is down by the motor." this occurred in September. They have claimed that they are waiting to receive the parts " from overseas" The latest response I got in December "We are still waiting on the parts to get sent to us from overseas, I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. We do not have any ETA at this time."So if you want to role the dice on a great machine but risk having a 500 ... After owning a F80 for about a decade and putting thousands of miles on it, it died and repair costs were comparable to replacement. Delivery was all good, assembly was straightforward, and completed with F63. On initial start up the treadmill ran about 30 seconds, then an E6 error came up. I looked it up on internet, disassembled and checked all electrical connections and tried again. Immediate E6 error. Then the customer service was terrible and I had to constantly be the squeaky wheel to get service. Ultimately, I am getting a full refund and other than having to manhandle it back out of my house and schedule a pickup that will work. I will not buy direct for these items again because of poor customer service. In my situation this has cost me lost time and the ... I will not buy direct for these items again because of poor customer service. In my situation this has cost me lost time and the ability to maintain rehab with a medical issue I have and side effects that do not allow walking outside in cold weather or being in a gym with a ton of people. This was super frustrating for something that I treated as an investment. Not saying I wouldnt buy a Sole again, but definitely not directly.
This is an outstanding piece of exercise equipment. It is very sturdy and, honestly, much larger and heavier than I imagined. It works extremely well, and is perfect for an older person who needs to get back to walking every day. The walking pad seems to be quite easy and comfortable on my joints. It has many bells and whistles that I have not yet discovered or learned how to use. This treadmill is a very good investment for your continued good health and well-being. I would, however, recommend paying the extra cost to have it delivered to your room of choice and assembled. I did, and Im really glad that I did so! The two men who carried it from the truck into the house, really struggled with the weight.
My previous treadmill died this year after 11 years of use, which to me is a long time. I spent most of the summer/fall looking for a replacement. I started seeing Black Friday ads in early November, and we decided to pull the trigger. Sole offered the best price and with free shipping to boot. There was a delay in getting it - I am assuming due to transportation issues - but it did arrive undamaged and the freight guy even put it in our garage out of the rain. My only issue was in putting it together. Some of the pieces did not align well, and we spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get them to do so. The biggest problem was getting the console in place. It definitely took two people and we still spent almost an hour trying to get the bolt holes to align ... I feel one side is still not exactly lined up (maybe off by 1/8" but doesn't affect using it, it just bothers my OCD), but overall I love the treadmill itself! Fits perfectly into our home gym. Hubby and I have been using it in the bitter cold because no one wants to go outside! Buy this, you won't be disappointed!
Here is my story and experience the last month with my treadmill. My Sole F63 finally quit on me after 12 years. We ordered several parts after speaking to Sole reps and troubleshooting over the phone. $100.00 later and lots of effort my husband, it still showed an error message of LS1. Instead of continuing to order one of a thousand parts and losing more money on it, we went to Dicks Sporting Goods to purchase a new one. The prices naturally have gone up but I loved mine so much I wanted another one. First of all, getting it home was a challenge. Dicks wanted 300.00 to deliver and set up and already spending so much on both treadmills, we said we would just take it with us. The prices naturally have gone up but I loved mine so much I wanted another one. First of all, getting it home was a challenge. Dicks wanted 300.00 to deliver and set up and already spending so much on both treadmills, we said we would just take it with us. We have a suburban XL and all back seats had to be placed down to get this monster in and it rested against the front seats. The next challenge required 3 strong men to get it upstairs as the box weighs 300 lbs. It took them an hour to muscle it up one flight of stairs. I also had to hire someone to remove the other one which took them two hours to disassemble it so the two of them could bring it down in parts, down the stairs to haul away. The new one is beautiful and has new tech features for a tablet and iPhone etc. As I inspected my husbands hard work in assembling, I noticed something was off. Quality control missed a detail that is going to drive me absolutely insane every day when I walk. The STOP button on the panel is UPSIDE DOWN! This is not a button that can be removed as it is made into the panel. After all the hard work, trying to repair the other one, loss of money, 5 men to get one upstairs and down, the time to assemble and all the headaches for my beautiful treadmill that I hope will last 12 years —not only do I have to pay on it for 18 months, I have to look at this upside down stop sign. I am so disappointed this was not caught by quality control and I had to pay such a premium for it to be perfect.
I purchased the Sole F63 in November of 2018 and I thought I'd give a review after four years of regular use. This treadmill gets used by my wife and I for walking and running on average about four times a week (a little more in the wintertime and less in the summer when we tend to exercise outdoors). We wanted a solidly-built, no-frills treadmill for (at the time) under $1000 and this unit has been exactly what we hoped it would be.The treadmill has held up very well over the last four years. It runs a little louder than it did originally, and you will occasionally get a little "clunk" noise when you adjust the incline (this apparently originates from the hydraulic cylinder that engages when you fold up the deck -- folding the deck up and down a few times seems ... It runs a little louder than it did originally, and you will occasionally get a little "clunk" noise when you adjust the incline (this apparently originates from the hydraulic cylinder that engages when you fold up the deck -- folding the deck up and down a few times seems to ease this problem). Otherwise I have had no problems with this unit and it continues to work as it is supposed to.I have been careful to lubricate the deck regularly, usually after every 45 hours of use. I also will occasionally vacuum out the dust under the motor cover and adjust the running belt tension if it seems at all loose or begins to pull to one side. If you follow this regular maintenance schedule recommended by the manufacturer, the treadmill should, in my experience, provide many years of enjoyment.
I love my new Sole treadmill. Its pretty big which is a good thing, but not for a small exercise room. I love the ease of use. All the buttons are so handy. I use it to walk..dont run anymore so I use the handles as I walk. The way the handles fit the curves of my hands is a little uncomfortable..theyre vertical which seems a little odd. I would think they would be more horizontal for better hand-fit. I dont use music while walking.I watch TV which works out well because its pretty quiet. I do use my Beats headphones which completely cuts out any noise the treadmill or my footsteps make. I would like to say that it was super easy to assemble. My husband had it put together in no time. There was one little hiccup with the last few screws that gave him some problems. ... MoreI love my new Sole treadmill. Its pretty big which is a good thing, but not for a small exercise room. It took both of us and a flashlight to get them screwed in. But, this issue and the shape of the handlebars are my only two complaints. But, I only use it when the weather is bad so I havent really used it that many times. Im very happy with my Sole Treadmill.
While I considered the assembly to be pretty straight forward, I would guess some people have struggled a bit - especially with the routing of the cables to avoid damaging them when assembling the top portion of the treadmill. The machine itself has worked very well, but I have a few observations. When running and being close enough to the control panel to see my tablet in the nifty holder or use the controls on the treadmill, there is the tendency to kick the motor assembly cover - not a huge thing, but I have to work around that. The fan is a nice feature, but it should tilt down farther - my wife is a bit on the petite side and the fan pretty much blows above her head. The speakers could be a bit more robust; some audio sources aren't very loud and it can be hard ... The speakers could be a bit more robust; some audio sources aren't very loud and it can be hard to hear over the machine's mechanical sounds - keep in mind that not all of your customers are 20 somethings with perfect hearing and vision. The programming features are pretty basic. That doesn't keep it from being useful and I understand the desire to position it as an entry level unit, but a little refinement would be nice. A fitted dust cover would be handy. Overall though, the F63 has been great. It is well built and performs well. The speed and incline settings are more than adequate for my needs. I enjoy the auxiliary speed and incline adjusters on the side rails - very convenient. I love the long deck. I have used treadmills with shorter decks and experienced that whoops feeling as my foot was at the end of the track - I haven't had that problem with the F63. The tilt up feature works very well and the unit maneuvers on its wheels very easily when tilted up. I did quite a bit of comparing with other respected brand's models. Based on our enjoyment of it, its quality, features and price, it was a very good purchase.
