Every loaf of bread turns out perfectly, partly because of the recipe book which comes with it. I usually use Laucke flour but with the recipes in the Sunbeam book. Thanks Sunbeam! Bought to replace an old model. So pleased with the larger pan (can use 5 cups of bread mix to make 30 rolls in one batch), and seems to mix better than previous. Wanted a simple option - I only make dough, and bread - from pre-mix and this does all I need (and much more if I get more adventurous).

Bought to replace an old model. So pleased with the larger pan (can use 5 cups of bread mix to make 30 rolls in one batch), and seems to mix better than previous. Wanted a simple option - I only make dough, and bread - from pre-mix and this does all I need (and much more if I get more adventurous).
Have had this breadmaker for about a month. It replaces one I have had for about 5 years. The old one was still working OK but the baking pan and blade had lost their non-stick coating. I would have replaced just the pan if they were available but instead had to buy a complete breadmaker. The new breadmaker has some design improvements compared to the old one including an improved digital display and a better way of holding the breadpan in place. I look forward to another five years of successful baking and hope that when this breadpan loses it non-stick properties replacement breadpans are available.
This new model Sunbeam (my 3rd Sunbeam Bread Maker) has great new features. Lightweight, cord winder on the back and shows you what stage of the process it is at. Just wish the lights would stay on all the time. In the previous model, had to adjust the water/yeast each time for most recipes but this model is PERFECT every time, every recipe. Also, lot more recipes in the book. Only fault - my Hot Cross Bun recipe is better and tastes more authentic. Give it a go - Add 1tbl spoon each mixed spice and cinnamon, 1tsp cloves. Skip the nutmeg
I researched the top 10 bread machines. So I ordered this one. It arrived quickly. I have previously been using two Panasonic machines for many, many years with perfect results and almost every day. But this one does not work. It doesn’t rise. I’ve tried many times and it’s costing so much money to try and get a risen loaf. It does not prove in the machine. I could see one loaf not rising at all so I removed the dough and let it rise manually and baked it in the oven. So it seems this machine is faulty.
When I purchase my Sunbeam BM7850 in March this year, I was very excited to make bread with it as it has programmable features and has big capacity to bake large bread. After three uses , I am disappointed as the turning blade scratched the bottom of the bread pan and the non-stick coating exposed. As it was Covid lockdown, I could not return my bread machine until today. The staff at Kitchen Warehouse was very friendly and immediately gave me a replacement. I always buy Sunbeam product as it is a trust worthy brand but not a bread maker. I hope my replacement will not give me any problems on the non-stick coating.
Love this bread maker. Great value for money! Only made two loaves so far but super easy and they turned out perfectly both times. It’s also very easy to clean and the delay setting is an awesome touch. Woke up to the smell of freshly baked bread!
Got my new Sunbeam Smart Bake Bread Maker 3 days ago. My 1st test was on pizza/dough setting. I used the Apple spice bread recipe then roll them into buns. Then 2 days later I bake the basic white bread , setting #1, 750g ,light crust setting . Took out immediately after bake cycle. Light crust is still darker than what I like but overall I am happy with its performances. Want to test the 1.25kg capacity as this my ultimate preference.
First time using a bread maker really pleased with this one. I am following the recipe and using Lauke flour from South Australia which does make a difference. Being very careful to use the highest recommended amount of water as well. So far have made eight crusty white or wholemeal loaves which have sliced well and lasted as toast and the small amount of leftovers are delicious added to Italian soup when stale. There is only a tiny hole left where the paddle sits and the whole thing is easy to clean.
