We originally bought the first MultiGrinder, in Which both plastic Lugs broke off within the month.After some convincing we decided to try the MultiGrinder 2, the lid constantly gets stuck closed and can't handle what it was literally designed for Lol !We use an oil filter remover when we need to get the lid off!Thankgod it covers warranty as we are returning this product.Just genuinely want to ask Sunbeam how this product got approved. Don't think it's very fair that it's so badly designed and people have to pay almost $50 when you can get a grinder from Kmart that works better than the actual Sunbeam brand..:SSeriously Sunbeam, Fix your grinder lid!

DO NOT BUY.I opened this grinder the morning after purchasing it so I could make my morning pot of coffee. It would not turn on. I tried different outlets, read the manual front to back several times, and checked that everything was solid. Nothing could make it turn on. The factory packaged and shipped a broken machine. I returned it for a refund and did not get a new one. Says a lot about the build quality when one is BROKEN BEFORE EVER BEING USED.It may be cheap, but you'll probably just end up buying a more expensive model a couple months later (if you're lucky) when it breaks.

It's a good quality grinder I just wish it was easier to clean. The lid has these little indents on the top where coffee gets stuck and the grounds get around the rim and make it difficult to screw the lid back on unless I wipe the outside of the grinder every time. And there's a lip where the cannister meets the rim on the inside of the bowl where grounds get stuck too. It would be so much better if it was just one piece cause then you could scoop or pour the grounds out without them getting suck under the rim. I always end up getting grounds all over the counter top. It's never a quick endeavour.
If you need a cheap spice grinder this is alright. However if you're doing large quantities of spice, you'll want to do that in small batches. I put 3 tablespoons in at a time and the motor sounds like it's really struggling.Also the lid has quite a few small grooves that are a pain to clean and the blades are hard to wash near the end as the blades go up so there's a little corner for things to get stuck in.
This is a terrible product. The lid is extremely difficult to get on, even more difficult to align properly so that the motor engages, and after 3 or 4 uses, I could not remove the lid at all. Several people tried, and in desperation I tried a knife to get under the seal but that didn't work either. Eventually I had to smash the lid to get the contents out. Then I read independent reviews on the product - the lid issue is constantly mentioned. Target I am not impressed with you selling me a product with a known design fault and not fit for purpose.Now I would like to know how to return it.
Grinder is perfect, powerful and quick. My issue is the flimsy plastic clips on the lids, sometimes they break when you click the lid in, or if the lid happens to fall off the grinder onto the bench - 150mm, the plastic clips are sure to break. I purchased several of these, the grinder still works - but the lid renders them useless. I have used Sunbeam for years, but this is such a frustrating issue and Sunbeam do not have a fix for it, nor do fix or they sell replacement lids, meaning the product just goes into landfill which is beyond disappointing.
It grinds coffee beans really well and quick, but it’s very messy to take the lid off and extract the ground coffee. Also it’s not easy to clean. There are no pull-apart sections so you have to clean it over the sink and make sure you don’t get the cord or plug wet. Great grinding capabilities, but I’ve only had it a week and I’m already looking for alternatives to purchase
Disappointing. Of course, it's not a grinder but a chopper, which affects the final product. The plastic window is hard to see through to ensure you have the desired texture. Worst though is it makes such a mess! When you take the lid off, coffee flies everywhere. It is very hard to clean as the lip sits over bowl and debris gets stuck underneath.
No instructions to say "Twist Top" my other grinders have been "Lift Off" lids.Grounds compact underneath cutter and need to be scrapped out.No pouring lip, grounds come out and scatter instead of flowing into coffee machine head.Grounds clog up the thread on the area where lid screws.
