I've owned Sunbeam kitchen appliances pretty much my entire adult life, but the Kyoto City Collection is their best range yet. I absolutely LOVE the minimalist look of my white Kyoto Kettle. It's elegant yet simple, timeless yet modern. I like that the handle connects at the bottom, which makes it easier to grip. And the easy push top that opens the kettle makes opening and closing it a lot easier than previous kettle designs. I'm especially in love with the illuminated base when the kettle is in use. It's soft glow makes the product look like its beyond its time. A stunning kitchen appliance that looks especially gorgeous next to the Kyoto Toaster!

The Kyoto kettle is sophisticated and modern, seamlessly integrating into the kitchen.The kettle itself is quick to boil, easy to use, and quieter than my previous kettle. The push to open lid and clear gauge allow for easy use. When in use, the kettle illuminates, allowing you and any children to clearly see it is in use, adding to its ease of use.Overall, the aesthetics and functionality of the kettle are an easy sell. I would personally not hesitate to purchase this product, as the products sit handsomely on any kitchen counter and is a refreshing addition to the market.

I’m Loving waking up to mornings at home with Sunbeam’s Kyoto City Collection, such a beautiful addition to my kitchen, an embodiment of ‘Japandi’ style a beautiful marriage of Scandinavian and Japanese design; a pure delight to the senses.Quiet, fast boiling, handy cord storage mechanism and a beautiful touch of a gentle illumination reminiscent of floating lanterns this beautiful kettle is a stunning addition to my kitchen.
This elegant white Kettle sits perfectly paired on my bench along side the matching Toaster. The pair look perfect together and will bring style to your kitchen space.The kettle is larger than my previous and holds seven standard cups which it boils very quickly. It has a simple push top lid and a stunning illuminating glow that shines from the kettle when it is switched on.All in all, this kettle is a beautiful piece and it’s simple, elegant design will be stunning in all kitchens. The style will stand the test of time and it’s easy use design is perfect for the tea lovers like me who will be using this every single day!I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this kettle to others.
Have had this kettle four days and taking it back. When I press the button to open the lid it doesn’t always open and there’s no other way to get the lid up. I like that it swivels on the base. Also bought matching toaster which is fantastic. Keeping the toaster but returning the kettle as its really frustrating.
A lovely kettle which looks a million bucks next to our toaster from the same range. Easy to use and has a lovely minimalist appearance. Comfortable to hold, pours well, and I quite like the push button lid release. Cord length can be adjusted to suit your space so you get a nice, clean look. The bottom of the kettle lights up when in use, which earns kudos from the kiddos. Overall, a good buy, and definitely an item you’re happy to have on display rather than hidden away in a corner of the pantry.
I purchased both the kettle and matching toaster. The kettle is useless, after a couple of weeks of use the lid doesn't open. I have returned two of them so far as the same thing has happened with both. I am on my third one now. The only reason I have persevered is because of the matching toaster, and I want to keep the set and not have to pay for another toaster as well. I noticed the other reviewer said their kettle had the same fault.
Well designed and manufactured kettle. Lighter than many other kettles and not too noisy. (We have found no electric kettle is quiet when coming to the boil!). Good replacement for a Sunbeam glass kettle that we bought eight years ago and which gave excellent service.
