After thousands of dollars in vet bills, I discovered that the cause of my Dog being deathly sick to the point where I almost had to put her down was because of this dog food. Thinking I was opting for a quality brand dog food I purchased it . Strangely around the same time my dog began to experience Gastric problems, with vomiting, bloody stools and weight loss. Constantly wanting to poop every 15 minutes for nights on end. Vet tests for any cause came out negative. This went on for months. She would recover when I switched her diet to Rice and Sweet potato and cooked meat. After she was well again we started to give her Taste of the Wild food again. Well surely enough she relapsed with the same symptoms again to the point where we seriously considered putting her ... Dog-boy loves this kibble! Had to go on a trial and error search for a new product after he wound up with a nasty yeast infection in his ears and was scratching himself all over. Hours of research and reading reviews led me to this variety of the TOTW products. For him, unlike a lot of other dogs, potatoes are the culprit - doesn't matter if they are white or sweet or how low on the list of ingredients it is. This has neither potatoes nor grains. I was unable to find any other reasonably affordable product that excluded both. In combination with some topical products and benadryl, we got the ears back to peachy, and his smile came back once all the itching went away. His coat and his eyes look great. My dog is quite fussy about the dog biscuits he eats. He was 3 years old before I found some he would eat. After several years those dog biscuits were no longer imported into Australia. After a frantic phone around several Petbarns A Taste of The Wild dog biscuits were recommended. My dog loves them.

I have a pitbull wth allergies to a few things and kibble has been an ongoing issue with hives after trying them for a few days. But after lots of ingredient checking I decided to try this one and I'm happy to report after three weeks there's been absolutely no reactions with this particular kibble. I'm so happy for her and it's even helping for patches of hair to regrow on her rump due to lack of nutrients as she was only eating a home cooked limited diet. Highly recommend these biscuits. '
