I purchase this by the case so my queen cat can have it every day with ancient grain dry food. For picky eaters this is a must try!All the nutrients are in it, tasty flavor providing everything she needs. Her furry coat is shiny smooth and her eyes bright. Her stool is firm and always gets flying colors from the vet!Thank you!

My cats are on their second bag of "Taste of the Wild". They really enjoy this particular flavour and I find they rarely finish their recommended daily ration. Their coats are soft and shiny and they seem content. Excellent quality product, well worth spending that little bit extra!

It took a while for my kitties to get attracted to this kibble but I was happy when they started eating it as I did not want to waste a bag (persistence is key). They also love the other Taste of the Wild duck & quail flavour I have in rotation for variety.Since switching to Taste of the Wild their doodoo has been less stinky (maybe from being grain free and the probiotic cultures) and their coats are shiny thanks to the omega content. I like that this one has limited ingredients as cats are carnivores and don't need veggies. The only downside is the bag as it's not resealable, so I have to transfer it into a ziplock bag or container, hence the loss of star.

My cat was having trouble going to the bathroom & I was trying to find a cat food, which was Organic & had No Artificial Preservatives, No Artificial Colors, No Artificial Flavors. That's "NOT" an easy task, for animal or human food, etc.! There are words which mean the above, but the fronts & small prrint on lables claim to be free of the above. You "ALWAYS" need to "CAREFULLY READ" all ingreidents in the "INGREIDENTS LABLE". A Food Ingreidents Lable should "NEVER CONTAIN" the words "ENRICHED", "BLEACHED", "REDUCED CALORIE" OR "LOW FAT"!I had come across Taste of the Wild (was using dry food then) & liked the ingredients & bought it (I always bought the big bag, ("WHICH ISN'T LOCATED WITH THE SMALL BAG"). Gave it to my cat & after eating it for a couple of days, started being able to go to the bathroom again. It's higher priced than some brands (but "not as high" as others), but worth the price, if you have the money.Taste of the Wild Dog & Cat Food can be purchased @ Tractor Supply. If you do not have one close to you, you could always go to there website & they do have a Facebook page.Thank you to the makers of Taste of the Wild!!
I have a cat with a substantial chicken intolerance, who also needs to be on wet food to prevent UTIs. Due to this, both she and her sister have to be on a chicken-free diet, just in case they “share” (ie, steal each other’s food). While there is some chicken fat in it, cat 1 tolerates it very well. Both of them love this food, though it’s always the gravy that goes first! The company’s dry Canyon River is also a hit to help round out their diet. Right now, it’s on back order- I hope that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped making it!
We found Taste of the Wild - Canyon River Feline Recipe when we were looking for something different to tempt our Senior kitty, Molly, to eat. She is almost 14 and her appetite isn't always the best. She loves the taste of the trout and salmon and is especially fond of the gravy. We have also started using this for our other two kitties, Mo and Bitty, who enjoy it equally as much.
I recently purchased Canyon River Feline Recipe with Trout and Salmon in gravy canned cat food for my picky cat Stormy to try. I have never found a canned cat food that she likes until now. I was pleasantly surprised when she actually gobbled up the entire can. I now make sure to keep plenty of this in stock for her. Stormy loves it.
We think Taste of the Wild is just purr-fect! As a very active cat I always tell my mom a little gravy goes with everything. There's nothing fishy about this brand except for it's great taste! This way I have time to play in the water and go exploring instead of fishing for my food. It is high in protein too which I don't know much about by my human says it's good for my active lifestyle. It's even better than catnip!
My sisters and I get to go shopping with our mom either on line or sometimes in person. We always ask her to buy Taste of the Wild with Salmon and Trout with gravy. Who doesn't like gravy right! She hasn't given us our own credit card yet but we can tell you this can is purr-fect for us and for your cats too. It is like dining at your favorite feline river front cafe without ever having to leave your home! We are even more crazy for this than catnip!
Thank you for you response, it is outdated as there have been studies carried out regarding guar gum and the effects on cats.Guar gum in cat food had a significant negative effect on apparent protein digestibility in many cats and tended to depress apparent fat and energy digestibilities. This means guar gum inhibitsProtein and fat metabolism and cats need to eat more to compensate for the problem. This issue is more severe in older cats that naturally have a compromised digestive efficiency. Cat food containing guar gum should be avoided for senior cats or cats that are GI compromised or cats with IBD, IBS, intestinal lymphoma, pancreatitis to name a few.The study on guar gum and cats also indicated a decreased feces quality, causing cats to experience wet, ... MoreThank you for you response, it is outdated as there have been studies carried out regarding guar gum and the effects on cats.Guar gum in cat food had a significant negative effect on apparent protein digestibility in many cats and tended to depress apparent fat and energy digestibilities. There are other additives that can be used in place of guar gum, you need to do your due diligence to ensure your cat food is safe for all cats. You should inform your customers that if their cats experience any GI problems, they should stop feeding them your cat food.Hoping you will post this information to ensure your customers are well informed.Thank you from a well informed cat owner and cat lover.
