I've had my german shepherds for 8 years and one of them, I just finally found out, is allergic to everything but fish. Very quick service! I have a 92 lb Boxer, Sheppard and Lab mix..and so far she loves all 4 varieties of the varieties of this product . Unless you spend upwards of $70.00 you ell not find a better kibble, and even then it is not any better. The e0 lb bag last her with 2 feedings a day around a month. Good investment both nutritional , meeting her needs and my wallet. Everyone is happy! I feel bad for the dogs whom are fed trash such as Purina one , Iams , and even authority brands as they all have Corn. Soy, animal meals; fillers.. And say how much they love their dogs? All my dogs were doing great on the other with the exception of my really sensitive Chinese Crested who just needed bit more limited food. Generally speaking, Taste of the Wild has done wonders for all my dogs health. My lab no longer has chronic ear or anal gland infections. My Mexican Hairless has better skin. My Chihuahua isn't a gassy mess anymore. The biggest difference is in my Chinese Crested who suffers from epilepsy and allergies. Her seizures were reduced by more than half by diet alone and her skin has greatly improved as well. Taste of the Wild Prey Trout is one of the few dry dog foods that my blue Weimaraner can eat due to a multitude of allergies. It does not lack aroma &/or taste. It is gobbled down without hesitation. My little Brittany Spaniel finds it to be a tasty food as well and the kibble size is acceptable to large breed dogs as well as a smaller breed.
My dog is super picky about his food. He is 6 and will usually only eat a brand/flavor for about a year before saying I'm all done with that find me something new to eat. And also has a strict affinity for duck food so over time the options became more limited as to what I could bring home because he's already had or rejected it. And by rejection I mean there are some he would flat out just flip the bowl over. I decided to go outside the box and try your limited recipe trout recipe. He absolutely loved it. And I found it to meet all my dietary requirements as well. Thanks totw.
We have been feeding Taste of the Eild Prey Trout formula for well over a year now. We have bostons and they are notorious for having sensitive stomachs. Anything with chicken or even grains upset their stomachs. They would visibly be trembling from the pain. But they absolutely love this good and no stomach problems at all! Shiny coats and no gas!!!
Our Scout has allergies and it was recommended we switch to a limited ingredient food. We tried another brand, and she would NOT eat it. She lost too much weight. Next we tried Prey Trout recipe, and she is back!!!! Scout happily eats her food everyday and even licks her bowl!! Her coat is glossy, she is not longer digging at her skin all the time, she has her giddy up back. We are very happy to have found this food for our baby girl!!
Prince has been using TOTW for a year now and love it! The puppy stream was a little hard on his stomach so we switched to the trout prey food and it’s been a game changer! He actually even gained weight (healthy weight) and hasn’t had any stomach issues like before. He was having some food allergies. He used to throw up a lot. Really happy we found this limited ingredient food for him.
Just got my dog to have solid stool finally - on the old formulation. Came to buy more and it now has chicken!? Never buying from this company again. Ridiculous. don't even try to tell me they won't be allergic since it is just chicken fat. Not buying it. Or risking it.
