We have been feeding Meadow, our 8 year old black lab mix, Taste of the Wild for over 5 years. She has a very picky pallet. We have tried MANY variations of dog food. Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain always comes out on top. She will eat it endlessly of given the opportunity. Diet is a key factor to health. We trust the brand and appreciate the ingredients.

We switched both our pups to Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain a while back and I'm so glad we did! We had noticed our dogs had been licking/scratching more frequently and they didn't have any fleas or whatnot. After baths and recently voiced concerns with the food we were using(which is a name brand and vet recommended kibble) we made the switch to Taste Of The Wild. Within the first two weeks the licking/scratching had subsided and thier coats were visibly more healthy looking. I'd say after the first month our elder dog showed dramatic energy gain! It is a happy medium price wise and the fur babies like it! Overall we're impressed and I've recommended Taste Of The Wild every chance I get!

We love Sierra Mountain with roasted lamb. Our german shepherd boy has sensitive tummy and can’t eat all kinds of protein and our siberian husky girl tends to be a little picky. They both agree that Sierra Mountain Canine Recipe with Roasted Lamb is absolutely delicious! We as a doggie parents love the quality and choice of ingredients. Happy and healthy dogs are very important to us and we always trust Taste of the Wild!
I switched to Taste of the Wild after my Frenchie got bored with his former brand of kibble. It got to the point where he wasn’t finishing his food anymore and I was researching new brands. I went with Taste of the Wild bc I liked their philosophy, their ingredients list, and their numerous formulas allow for rotational feeding, ensuring my Frenchie won’t ever get bored with his food. I’m so glad we made the change! In 2 weeks my Frenchie bulked up and is able to maintain a healthy weight. His coat is so shiny and he has so much energy! He loves his new food and is always excited for meal time. My Frenchie has a poultry allergy so I love that I’m still able to get him delicious food with no poultry meal or byproducts. A 5lb bag lasts us just over 2 weeks so he loves getting to try different formulas and switching it up. My review is under the Sierra Mountain Canine recipe but honestly it goes for all their formulas with no poultry in them. Couldn’t be happier with our brand of dog food! We love Taste of the Wild!
We've been feeding him various varieties of this food for about 5 years. He's gotten healthier and happier since. His favorite is the pine forest. But that's out of stock everywhere so today we got him the ancient mountain with roasted lamb. He seems to be happy with this one as well. We also feed our two cats totw Venison recipe and they love it. Don't change the recipe in us now!
I have a German Shepherd / Malinois female that weighs 103 lb. She has solid muscle. I bought one bag of Taste of the Wild High Prairie Roasted Bison and Roasted Venison and I bought another bag of the Roasted Lamb, not knowing which one of these she would like the best, and I'd buy that one in the future. I have been buying her lamb treats for a very long time now and she loves it so I thought this would be the one that she would prefer. Not so, she likes both of them equally as much. So I guess I'll be alternating them, Roasted Bison one month and Roasted Venison the next month. Or maybe I'll just mix half of one and half of the other in a bowl together, because I want to make her happy with what I'm giving her. Her stool is solid, but not hard or soft, which is ... MoreI have a German Shepherd / Malinois female that weighs 103 lb. She has solid muscle. Her stool is solid, but not hard or soft, which is the way it should be. And looking over the ingredients that Taste of the Wild puts in both of them. I am very pleased with what I see and I have no problems giving either of these to her. She only gets the very best dog food that I can find.
Taste of the Wild really stood out among the other choices of dog food so I just had to get it for our special girl. This is my dirty little secret. MY DOG HATES DOG FOODLike with a fiery hot passion. I had tried so so many various flavors, brands, formulations. And had basically just admitted defeat and decided to let her live out her dream of being a cat, eating cat food. But she isn't a cat and I felt horribly guilty and knew she wasn't getting the nutrition she needs and that just isn't OK. Because she's family and it's so important to keep her in the best shape possible. So when I saw this bag I decided what the heck, we'll waste money on just oneeeee more bag of dog food. When I say SHE LOVES THIS FOOD!!!! I love knowing she's actually getting what she ... MoreTaste of the Wild really stood out among the other choices of dog food so I just had to get it for our special girl. I love knowing she's actually getting what she needs as a dog (the world's most special and important dog as a matter of fact!)Looking at the ingredients and nutritional value of this food, and looking back on her dog food strike, I can't help but think she's also the world's SMARTEST dog, because she knows what's best for her. I'm glad I finally found it. The first ingredient is lamb, go figure! But rare to find meat as the number one ingredient, as I've learned. My girl will settle for nothing less and I'm more than happy to spoil her the way she and her health deserves.
This brand of dog food is one of several I alternate with my six-year old Aussie. My dog is healthy and energetic. I use several Taste of the Wild flavors, mostly grain-free. That preference is based on the thought that dogs really do not need to live on grains. High protein makes sense. I change flavors every time I order. Truthfully, my dog doesn't care what flavor he gets. He loves his food.
This is what my old Australian Cattle Dog was eating when I got my chocolate Lab puppy. Since the day she first tasted the lamb Taste of the Wild grain free dry food, she has refused any other dog food! She is very particular! She has good energy and a soft, shiny coat! I appreciate the cost as well! I won't even offer her cheap dog food and couldn't afford some of the "prescription" foods or other fancy dog foods... Even if she would eat them! I fully expect my next pup will get hooked on Taste of the Wild too! And, that's just fine with me!
