This driver works hard so I don’t have to. Other than the texture of the face being so pronounced, I like everything about the appearance of this masterpiece. It is my first bagged Carbon faced club, I have hit many times the Stealth and Stealth 2. The weight system is similar to SIM2 - well balanced. I am very pleased with this distance. Even at my level of competition, I’m seldom not the farthest up the fairway. Mis-hits seem to still carry out. Great development on TM’s part.

Really liked the driver while it lasted but as previous TM drivers/woods they just don't last long at all. I got this driver through the MyTaylormade 2 week trial and it didn't even last the 2 weeks. The carbon face thats glued in (which is the reason this happens) popped out again. Not the first time with TM drivers/woods. It seems that if you have around 120 SS and use the driver at the range this will not last you more than 100 or so swings. I wanted to give TM a try again but back to another brand i guess. I want a driver that will last me for at least a year without having to get a replacement. TM replaces clubs really well but I want to game a club and get comfortable with it and not have to get it replaced multiple times and start over.

Worst driver ever played with according to my daughter who plays in Junior Tours. She was always fan of TM product ever since she started golf long times ago. She had played ALL version of TM driver from M1 to Stealth 2. That is like 7 or 8 TM drivers. Because she loved the TM brand so much, at the same time she owned every version of hybrid and fairway woods too. So total, more than 30+ different TM driver/wood/hybrid combined. With those TM clubs, she also invested so many different TM shafts too (20+ and that include some of the high end shafts cost over $300+). But everything changed with just ONE driver. And that is Stealth 2. Horrible driver. First, I am wondering if there is such thing as quality check department at TM. The face (red) were not even close to ... Around the face, part of the metals were sticking out like 1 or 2mm. If she miss hit (like a thin shot), the driver will scratch the ball or even cut it with the line. During the tournament, that is very critical. Originally, she received that driver like two weeks before the actual release date and she was so happy about that. Anyway, she wasn't hitting any longer and the club was not even forgiving as previous versions. Her driver performance dropped dramatically because she could not trust the club anymore. If I can give MINUS stars, I would love to. She was enjoying lots of discounts from TM but from now on, forget about it. After what happened during the tournaments (two nationwide), she said she doesn't want to play with TM products anymore. She also lost lots of confidence with other TM clubs like hybrid and fairway woods. That was when I finally pull the trigger, time change. I sold few TM clubs at EBAY for knock-off price and used rest of them to trade in for different brand clubs after fitting. She even changed her golf ball TP5X to other brand and her gloves too. She still has few new TM gloves in her bag but just ordered gloves again from different company. Because of the ONE piece of equipment, I had to change everything. Now, she has ZERO TM gears in her bag.

I have a custom driver that I spent a lot of time and money on when it was purchased. The TM Stealth 2 Driver had little customization (type of shaft and flex) so I was a little skeptical. The price was certainly right but more importantly (after the fitting), the club felt right - weight, balance, flex, etc. This club is incredible - boring flight path, lower spin rate, and a very unforgettable thud sound. The sound gives me great confidence knowing that when I think I have executed a good swing and seeing the results confirms that it was in fact very good. It is a definite confidence builder.
This club is long and forgiving! I was very reluctant to get rid of my old R540, but I really wanted more distance. I have easily added 15 yards to my drives. The only issue was after about125-150 swings the bottom of the face caved in slightly. Looked like it might be an issue with glue. I took it back to my local golf shop and they swapped it out immediately. They said Taylor Made was great with product warranty. I have been playing with the new club for a month and have been very happy!
Golf Galaxy is AWESOME! But the new STEALTH 2 is not. I am a 10 handicap and took this driver out to the course yesterday only to be disappointed GREATLY!!! I hit about 25% of fairways, if this club is not hit perfectly the misses become CATASTROPHIC for any scorecard.....it should be renamed NON FARGIVENESS!!! And the money Taylormade is asking for this club is ridiculous with the poor performance I experienced in playing with it. No wonder Rory missed the cut at the Masters 2023. Save your money unless you are perfect and never miss hit a shot. I gave it one star because it does look good.
First TM driver I liked the look of since M1 and M2 so I decided to put it in the bag. Great looking club but doesn’t bring anything special to the table as far as performance and playability are concerned. I actually enjoy the deadened sound on well struck shots, a nice chance from the norm of loud metal sounding clubs but on poor shots it’s very off putting and makes a bad shot seems worse. Net zero overall for sound and feel. Zero measurable gain from Titleist T3.Flimsy head over is a PIA to put back on after each shot.
At 69 years old I have noticed a big loss in distance with my drives. I visited a club fitter and tried the Stealth 2 driver along with three of the other current leading drivers. Tried different shaft options during the fitting as well. For me the Stealth 2 driver performed the best in terms of distance (232 yards max using a Trackman device) and I recall the other drivers were are at a max distance of around 205 to 210 yards. Using the recommended fittings I ordered the Stealth 2 driver through the TaylorMade website (fyi - veterans can get a pretty good discount using their site). In the three rounds since I have had the driver I certainly have seen improvement with my drives. Using a GPS (Swing Caddie) Had some drives between 257 and 265 yards and even on shots ... MoreAt 69 years old I have noticed a big loss in distance with my drives. TM customer service is the reason I gave the rating 4 stars. They are the best. I purchased the 9.0 stealth 2 with a 75 gram x shaft and was hitting moon balls. I mean higher than my pitching wedge. The club feels great but the launch was way too high with the 25g weight in the rear of the driver head. So I called TM and they sent me 3 different TMM weights for the front to counter balance the rear weight more. They also sent me a new shaft with a lower launch profile and a tool all free of charge. I don’t like that the rear tungsten weight can’t be changed in this model but the fact that they did right by me as a customer by sending additional equipment and refunded my shipping costs means a lot.
I've used most versions of TaylorMade's line from the Tour Burner in '08. They've continued to improve the products through advanced materials, skilled engineering and feedback from Tour Ambassadors and users like me. My Stealth 2 purchase was made through the TM custom shop. I knew the shaft and grip characteristics I wanted, and color palette, so this was an easy step-by-step build for me. The club arrived one week earlier than expected, and I have not been disappointed in its performance. I've gradually shifted my through-the-bag clubs to TaylorMade from Titleist products over the last 5-6 years. I don't see any reason to change that strategy. TaylorMade has been great for my game.
