I have been cooked rice for many years and this is the bad product that I bought. Cook the rice was ok. But if you warm the rice for 3-4 hours it will watering or very hard. The steam does not working well. It will make water come out a lot from the lid because it does not have the little water tray like another. I was ordered and waited for the next day delivery but it was came late for 6 days, and it was another mistake when they delivered for me another product ( bread toast). And I brought it to the store to get the rice cooker. They refunded $10 back. Anyway dont buy this product

I purchased this because we had the previous model for many years before it died on us. It is so handy to use. I just put two cups of rice in with 4 cups of water, set it and get on with making my curry or whatever else I'm doing. It is lightweight and easy to clean. The only thing I don't like is that I can't store the leftover rice in the bowl because the lid is attached to the machine, the previous model had one that unclipped. But I'm an adult and I can put leftovers in a plastic container. Haha

I bought this in august. Nice rice cooker and rice turns out perfect each time although it takes longer than usual. Have also made rice porridge which turned out good. However I was annoyed that the rice cooker on/off button flashes, so have to turn it off at the switch. A bit annoying since I wanted to keep it in a discreet area which uses multiple plugs, but now have to keep it where it has its own PowerPoint. Love that it is super non stickmakes cleaning easy! I paid a little over $100 for this at good guys, but I shouldve seen other sellers where they sell for cheaper which would have made it worth the price
The RK732 doesn't seem to like doing smaller quantities. Trying a one cup 'bachelor' batch, it 'burned' (dried out and browned, ick!) the rice on the bottom, makes you wonder what the built in AI (artificial intelligence) chip was doing instead of monitoring my rice? Probably something it shouldnt have been doing, like hacking the ISS or something? Never liked AI personally! I'm glad it doesn't talk. A slightly larger batch came out better. Large, family size batches should be fine.
This rice/slow cooker is definitely a quality Tefal product. Coating inside seems nice and smooth. The output of good textured rice is amazing so far. Is long and narrow enough to fit into the kitchen counter. 10 cup capacity is great. Makes rice with same precision on 2 cups even. There are water and rice level scales imprinted inside the pot which are really helpful and handy for measuring the perfect ratio of water and rice etc. Overall a good value buy without sacrificing on quality.
Bought this with one of my concierge vouchers considering my old rice cooker died and I could get a few extra settings for under $100 like slow cooking etc .. and I absolutely regret it. The rice takes FOREVER to cook. On the the first attempt I was waiting 45 minutes plus when the old breville did it in 15 ... on the second use I thought Id try the slow cooker function. Waited 8 hours only for the casserole to be watery and my meat to be tough as nails still. Had to put it on the quick cooking function for two rounds to try to cook it again as it was past midnight and not prepared to wait around all night. The next day I had to continue to cook the casserole on the stove for another couple of hours to get to an edible state! We upgraded from a basic rice cook to this machine, giving us the option of cooking different types of rice, brown / white at the touch of a button.The key to using a rice cooker like this is to make sure that you rinse the rice well (until the water runs clear) prior to cooking. If you don't you risk a hard crust at the bottom of the rice.I use the 1:2 rice water ratio and always get fluffy rice. Have also cooked rice with coconut milk - yum

I thought I didn’t know how to cook rice anymore(I’m asian so this is blasphemy). The rice was constantly coming out undercooked.
