Not so much about the product, but i do have to say the delivery time was incredible - i placed an order one afternoon and it was delivered the next morning, and i live in a different city to the shop! Product itself is solid and well thought out as you'd expect from Thule. I have one of the other Thule ones that you take the front wheel off for - it's great with only a minor hassle of taking off front wheel and having to carry separately. It also locks the bike with a simple key lock - the UpRide arrangement of a wire and built in padlock thing is clever but a bit clumsy i thought. Other one also feels a bit more solid and secure with the clamp on the fork. However the UpRide is great if you dont want to or can't take off the front wheel and overall a great product

I purchased this to transport my e-mtb because of the thickness of the downtube housing the battery meant my original rack wouldn’t hold it. This rack uses the front wheel to lock the bike in position but make sure that the frame size isn’t too long as mine only just fitted and the weight limit of 20 kilograms only just suits my bike without the battery.However, I am pleased with the rack.

Not so much about the product, but i do have to say the delivery time was incredible - i placed an order one afternoon and it was delivered the next morning, and i live in a different city to the shop! Product itself is solid and well thought out as you'd expect from Thule. holds the bike securely.It is great that it doesn't clamp on the frame. previous bike racks have slowly worn away paint. My only issue is that the lock is only on the rear wheel, not the frame or whole bike. But I would never leave my bike alone for long anyway.not the cheapest rack in the world
We have odd shaped frames for our bikes as they are electric. The standard bike racks were unable to fit the width of frame. Removing the wheel and using a rack that the front forks drop into is not practical for us as we have a dog and space is a premium when towing the caravan. This rack is easy to operate and provides a solid safe grip on the bike. With the additional built in cable lock there is good security when leaving the car unattended.The rack can accommodate fat tyres up to 29inch.price is comparable to online sellers.

As a woman it is often not easier when it comes to sort out the bikes on the car. The 599 Thule roof mounted is perfect and makes easy to mount the bike on it. Bought 2 for my daughter and my bikes when we go for a ride but I am going to buy 2 others for the rest of the family. Bikes are safe and secure on these, highly recommended and so easy to setup as well.In the past I had a boot bikes rack, they damaged the paint of the car and I couldn't open the boot neither... these roof mounted solved all these issues! Highly recommended
Holds bike tight and is well made. If you have square bars get the correct square bar adaptor kit, there are 2 kits. The picture on the Thule website is the same but the one for this rack has an extra component which is not shown in the picture. Halfords only did the 'wrong' adaptor kit and I did not realise until I did a test run of mounting the rack. Had to return the adaptor kit and purchase one from a well know on line retailer.
