Tombow Mono Graph Mechanical Pencil 0.5mm

delivery took 4 days,, the pencil itself is fantastic but i did have to watch a video to learn how to reload lead into it. and you need to shake harder than usual shaker mechanical pencils as this is not completely meant for it

the knocker doesnt work perfectly, but the lead lock is handy. i prefer to just let the lead out by clicking the clip. the eraser is good but wears down way too fast, so maybe consider getting some refills for them.

My first mechanical pencil. I really like it a lot. I've already bought a second and plan to buy more. It is well constructed, sturdy and has great features.

This pencil is a good shaker pencil. I do like the lock mechanism on the pencil. The eraser does fall out if not secure overall it is a good pencil. I would also prefer to get one with a grip, since I do have a tight grip when holding many of my pencils.

My go-to pencil for drawing. I love how it has a long twistable eraser with really good quality. I like the overall design of it, with the iconic colors of mono on one side and a semi-transparent gray on the other as well as the grip so you can see the inside. 10/10 recommend especially if you draw a lot or you erase a lot

I love it, one of the best pencils out there! The shaking mechanic is very useful when you are taking notes from that one professor who talks like 500 words per minute. You don't gotta waste those 5 precious seconds clicking the top. The only problem with it is that if you have greasy or sweaty hands then the pencil will feel kind of slippery sometimes. Just wipe it then you'll be good to go.

I've bought this pencil twice now cause I'm steadily misplacing them. But it's well worth it. The lead is beautiful and nice and the lines and the ketches that come from this shaker pen is beautiful. I think it's my favorite mechanical pencil so far and I really am so sad I've misplaced it almost twice now. The only con is that the shaker mech locks and there is no other way to dispense lead but that's a given. Other than that it's wise to get refills. The pen comes filled but it's good to have tomboy led on hand just incase you use it more than intended.

These are decently made and the shaker function does work smoothly. However, before buying you do need to evaluate whether or not you would ever need a shaker feature in your pencil. My conclusion was that you don't. Say you're taking notes during a lecture, I don't think people nearby would be very satisfied with hearing the loud shaker shaking and plastic hitting metal parts inside the pencil. Also, even if you don't care about how loud your pencil is (you should but for the sake of argument) clicking your pencil is always going to be smoother and quieter. Creative design that really doesn't serve a clear purpose. Also, coming from other graphing pencils, the barrel is too thick in diameter. It feels as if you're holding a wide, flexing plastic tube as you write.

Shaker mechanical pencil, love the shaking part when using. A really good brand.

I've read some good and average reviews on this pencil and too me I really like this shake kind. It took me a second to figure out how to stop it from shaking. It just came without an actual box, but it's not that hard once you figure it out. And on another note to this shaking part that drives people crazy on. It's no different then the other mechanical pencils when you push down on the top or side to get lead out. It makes noises either way, but at least it can write.
