It’s a heavy pot which is great. The valve setting works but not great. It’s finicky. I had two goes at it to get it to hold the pressure.I’ll get on with it as I knew it was a budget friendly pot.But all things considered: buy an expensive pressure cooker, where all parts are stainless steel. Will I buy it again or recommend it ? No.It’s OK for once a month use and too much trouble to return. So it depends on expectation I guess.

I bought it as a Christmas present for my brother and sister in law. They love it, it's comparable with their induction hob. Its simple to close and open and it cooks quick. I have always used prestige pressure cookers and I was skeptical at first to try Tower brand. I will be buying one for my self in the future. The service was excellent I used the click and collect option. It was available to pick the next day after I placed an order.

I am a fan of pressure cookers and have used one for 47 years. They don't dry out food like a slow cooker. This one is large enough for a big family and ideal for home made soups stews etc., enabling the cook to use cheaper more tasty meat that cooks down beautifully in a short amount of time. The fact this one is stainless steel is even better as it is easy to clean and stays looking good. Controls are dead simple.
I used the pressure cooker to make soup, a meat stew, and a vegetable ratatouille. It worked perfectly, and I am very pleased with it. Easy to use, and no frightening releases of steam.
This is the second time I'm purchasing this pot as it's a good size, value for money and from a reputable company like Robert Dyas. But I'm only giving it 4 stars as the last one lasted only 2 years even though it hasn't been used that much. It started leaking and wouldn't pressurise properly (perhaps a problem with the seal). Giving it another chance though for the reasons I've stated at the beginning. When it worked - it worked very well!
This pressure cooker is solid and looks good. I’ve used it once and seemed ok, however I wasn’t exactly sure when the pressure was reached as it hissed very silently and then once I turned it down I had to stay on top of it to make sure it was at a constant pressure and hissing correctly. Hopefully I will get used to it.
My previous pressure cooker stopped working due to rubber gasket/seals wearing out. Spare parts weren't available & it was effectively unrepairable. I specifically chose this Tower pressure cooker because the manufacturer gives very good after sales support/service & a long guarantee. Very pleased with this product 👍🏼
After lots of research looking at do many different pressure cookers, I finally decided to get this 2days before Christmas .I was quite apprehensive at the beginning, first dish I cooked was lamb chops, and then a chicken dish followed by Trotters, all three dishes in one day! I got carried away with happiness. I hope it gives me longlasting service. So far very happy and getting hang of it.
Easy to handle cooker as weight is not excessive. 6 litre is a very convenient volume to have. There are three settings on the pressure valve one of which allows cooking at normal pressure or for steaming. In addition, the pressure valve is easily removed for cleaning. The increase in quality of food cooked at the higher pressure is noticeable.
