Trilogy - Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ 30 ml

I used this product in late 2017/ early 2018. I have received a small bottle of this antioxidant oil as part of a larger gift pack. I have normal skin and I have been using a facial oil for a while. In particular, I have used 4 rose hip oils to date - this one, Sukin, Kosmea and Essano. In terms of rose hip oil blend, I have used Antipodes divine face oil.\n\nHaving read so many positive reviews on Trilogy rose hip oil, I was excited to try this. When I opened the oil- the first impression was the fishy smell. It is not the same as rancid - it's just fishy- but not to the extent that it is unbearable. However, this scent is not really there in any of the other RHO that I have tried (Essano smells bad as well, but I think it just smelt "off" instead of just fishy). It doesn't expire until 2019.\n\nThis RHO is not overly "wet" and oily - I can still use makeup on top of it and it gives me a nice glow under the makeup. The colour of the oil is a deep golden yellow colour, which indicates that it is nutrient-rich.\nIt does not give me any breakout or congestion. I haven't particularly observed any change in skin texture and radiance, but the bottle that I used was only small (about 2-3 weeks of application twice a day).\n\nI emailed Trilogy's customer service and told them about the smell. The response I received was along the lines of "if it's not expired it is fine to use. Some people mistaken the woody scent as fishy". Well, I know the difference between woody and fishy. Sukin RHO is woody, Kosmea RHO is woody, this one is fishy. Given that this is the response that I received, I don't think that I would re-purchase this product.\n

I HAVE A COMBINATION FACE SKIN. I WAS ALWAYS CONCERN WITH MY FACE SCARS AND PIMPLES. I HAVE ALWAYS SEARCHED FOR THE ONE THAT BEST FITS, BUT I NEVER FOUND ONE UNTIL NOW. I had heard many good things about the benefits of Rosehip Oil online so I went out and purchased the original. I thought this was amazing but then was lucky enough to try a sample of the antioxidant + and fell IN LOVE! My skin has improved dramatically and I've found that any scarring begins disappearing in just a few days. I use this every night after cleansing.

Coming from someone who has acne prone, oily/combination skin, i was skeptical to try oil on oil. I decided to give it a go after reading the benefits of what it does for your skin and i am in love. I use it after the Trilogy hydrating mist toner and these two together are heaven. I love how the oil doesn't leave a greasy residue, it soaks right in and that's extremely important for me and my skin type. It really makes me feel like i am loving and caring for my skin. Highly recommend.

I۪ve used other brands of rosehip oil on the market but stumbled across trilogy rosehip oil antioxidant + a few months ago and thought I۪d give it ago, especially after reading all the glowing reviews. As I۪ve hit my early 30۪s I۪ve noticed my skin is a little drier, I was conscious of ageing, pet and seasonal allergies along with bad sleeping patterns had taken a toll on my eye area. This oil has really helped with all of my concerns. It۪s added hydration and nourishment to my skin and improved the appearance of my eye area! I would even say it۪s help to lighten the darkness too! I've been using this for 7-8 years, and within this time period my skin has changed from oily/acne prone to dry. This has been a regular part of my routine throughout all the skin changes. While I've tried other rosehip seed oils, I somehow always come back to this one. Yes it's more expensive now that so many brands offer rosehip seed oil, but my skin does fare better with this one, and I personally prefer the higher quality as well as the other beneficial antioxidant ingredients. I only need 2-3 drops MAX for my face, neck, AND chest because I use it on skin that's still damp from toner/essence so that helps the oil spread and absorb better. I'm always surprised when I hear people putting oil on dry skin. smooth skin but stinky

I swear the ingredients don't have any olive oil but then why does it smell like such a pungent olive oil? am I crazy? is it the rosehip?? personally I dislike olive oil on the skin, so I'm adverse to this slightly strong smell. but it may just be because it doesn't have a lot of fragrance which is good for sensitive skins maybe. the product coming from New Zealand, I can feel quite assured the brand isn't lying when it says certain ingredients are organic. I believe the affect from this is nice smooth skin. I appreciate the acai oil for anti aging and I was looking for an oil with it.
